Hi all, I got some updates. My wife did her Biometrics and Medicals on the first week of March. On March 13th, I received the sponsorship approval letter and Today (15th) I received a notification letter that her application for permanent residency has been transferred to Ankara Office.

Decision made most of the time is a good news. After I called IRCC they told me wait a week and the responsible agent for your case would email the sponsorship approval. To call IRCC, just call 1-888-242-2100 then choose options 2-1-1-0

I received that email too. I didn't receive the biometrics in ECAS. Seemingly after you link your account to GCKEY, updates migrate to GCKEY (Where my wife notified to do biometrics).

I'm calling IRCC now. I let you know about the outcome.

Sure. I guess it would take a while. They haven't sent my wife application to the local visa office yet.

I think I should be clearer. I am the sponsor. I didn't receive any email. I guess after you link the application to GCKEY system, they do not contact the Sponsor anymore.

I got couple of updates. 28th of Feb I received Biometrics letter and 1st March I received Medical Examination request. Ecas says decision made under sponsorship column but I haven't received any email from them. Probably have to call IRCC on Monday.

Did you they provide you with a temporary application number? My application was received on 18oct2018 and I received AOR last weekend (Saturday Morning).

French2014, Did you request ATIP before? If so, on the second page it says the status of your Criminality check.

Finally, I received the AOR from Mississauga. (Application was received on 18 Oct 2018 by Sydney). Ecas says they have started processing the application on 8Feb2019.

It is awful. Give them a call and ask them about what is going on.

The last question for linking your account is "Number of Family members". You should insert your number of family members (not the number of people in the application). Also, you may want to check the city the applicant intended to live. You may have entered a larger municipality when filling...

It is seemingly normal for Sydney. Last Monday I called them and they said they were still working on applications received before 9th of Oct.

You have to wait till the recording gets to option then: 2 1 1 0

I hope next time you call you won't need to wait long to be served.

Please go back and read your wording when you addressed me. You have the right to your opinion but the way you expressing it shouldn't be condescending. And following up with my application after 4 months of silence is not illegitimate reason.

And I have first hand experience with IRCC mishandling immigration application/extended delays. So, I'm not waiting for them to screw up and follow up with my application status.

I see. So because of long waiting time you condemn other callers instead of asking IRCC to have a better response time/personals and resources.
