Many thanks, I managed to link it today.
I think the issue I had was that the place of birth I entered was wrong. I had to enter the city, as opposed to the town that is on my passport.

I submitted inland application for PR+OWP April/22
OWP file was sent back in June/15/2018
I resent my file back after correcting it on June/16/2018

I have not received any AOR OR APPLICATION NUMBER
My work permit is expiring on OCT/12/2018. less THAN A MONTH


I know its not normal

Any suggestions or recommendations would help at this point

I am depressed at that point

And am i able to work on implied status for my work permit or do i have to quit my job?

Have you attempted to link your OWP app online? I know some people have been able to link, despite never receiving their AOR.

If you already have a previous work permit, you will have a UCI. You can use this to login. Do you have a GCKey login, or better a Canadian Bank account? The below link will let you login in.

There will be an option to Link an Application. You can use various details about yourself to attempt to link your OWP.

Hi @tanya k !

I assume you are the principal applicant right? In the normal process only the sponsor gets AOR email, check it out. If you didn't received AOR yet, call IRCC and ask for it. You may not receive AOR for OWP, I didn't received it, but it happens to some people.

If your OWP app is complete this time and will not be sent back to you, you are ok with implied status to remain in Canada.

Do you already have an OWP and have you applied for renovation? If yes, there is implied status for OWP, and you can continue working with the same rights you already have. No need to quit your job until decision for OWP.

If you do not have a previous OWP/WP, the fact that you have applied for it now does not give you the right to work and you should stop working until you have the legal permission to do so.

Sorry @tanya k , I missed the point that you have WP until Oct. 12, so you're ok, no need to quit your job and you are on implied status for WP until OWP decision is made.

Yes im the PA my husband is sponsor
Even he did not receive any AOR for OWP or PR application
I applied for extension i had OWP before

I tried calling CRA like 5 times a day at diff times but cant get thru to them because they are very busy
Is there anything else i can do to verify my status
my grandma is very sick i need to travel outside of country ,im just waiting for owp

For that link, you can do it. It can take a few tries with different information types to get in. I would advise to keep trying. There are threads somewhere that can advise better on the different options on how to get in.

I'm affraid that there's no options but try to link your application by creating a CGkey account or check app status using ECAS website. You can try both this using your previous UCI number and personal information. ...or keep trying to reach IRCC officers on the phone early morning.

This cannot be a good sign for me. My Application received August 31 and no sign of AOR yet... but, I got an email from Canada post that somebody created a shipment to my address on September 22.

You are right. I corrected the AOR received date.

I still haven't had any luck linking ours...

I received what I believe to be our AOR on September 19th by email to my personal email (sponsor). My wife also received an email on Sept 19 which did not include the application but with basically the same information as the email sent to me. I've been entering her city of birth, but her passport says "FLORIDA, U.S.A." as her "PLACE OF BIRTH". Should I be using that??

When I enter the application number and her year of birth over the phone (1-888-242-2100) I have no problem getting the general information about the application so I believe the application should be linkable.. Going on three attempts today. Nobody ever said it would be easy I guess...

Also, still no correspondence regarding her OWP that was submitted in her original application. Is this normal? Visitor visa expires on December 5th.
