hi there
anyone got med request yet?
while waiting and reading at the 2018 Spousal Sponsorship i saw that some did an upfront medical exam... now im confused, i thought you shouldn't do it upfront... did anyone here already an upfront medical exam? if it would work, i would do it too coz right now im still looking for a job and would have time forNot here.... I’m March 23rd, aor April 20th, I’m hoping within the next few weeks
Depends. I know someone did upfront, so his case from beginning, he has past the medical exam. You cannot do upfront medicals anymore. They've changed the rules.
I don't think you need to apply for it now as you have a valid OWP until Oct 2019. Hopefully your application would be processed within 12 months so you should be covered. In worst case you would apply for OWP online before the one you got expire and you will get it within 4 to 6 weeksHi Guys,
I and my husband got married last year January 2017 in Pakistan.
My husband is a Canadian and I am currently on an open work permit until Oct 2019.
We both came back after Marriage and are staying together since.
We are planning to apply next month. I have pretty much completed the application by myself.
Just confused as for should I apply for an Open Work Permit? I am scared what if I don't get approved by Oct 2019. Will I be able to work after that? My OHIP also expires on Oct 2019.
Please help!
Thanks so much. Also, what if i get Preg during that?I don't think you need to apply for it now as you have a valid OWP until Oct 2019.
