Email alert this morning. It is weird, I usually check for updates once a week and I forgot to look this week, woke up this morning to the alert.

The account was updated to read 'Your action is required'.

Then when I click on my application I see the following message:

Review of medical results: We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details

And in my messages, I received a copy of the IMM1017E form.

Medical booked for September 12, good luck to everyone that is waiting, I will keep posting updates when I get them.

Hi, do we know why the background check takes so much time to execute ? ( I have no experience with background check and what it might imply to perform one). Do someone know how it is done?

No, March 21st. For some reason when they physically receive your application they date the OWP online as being “received” 1 week prior. So it arrived March 28th and online it reads as being received March 21st.

Can u please share the time u received your OWP ... thanks an u please explains what is schedule A means..!? Sorry I am new here... thanks.

Hi there,
Does this mean that you were allowed to begin working on March 29, as soon as your OWP was approved? I would like to know how long it takes to be able to start working, once Spousal sponsorship application has been made. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
My wife just got her medical request. The thing is she's already passed it in July. CIC requested it when she got her OWP. So here's the question - should she pass it the second time after two months from the first one and what are the actions otherwise?
