I will try doing that but it says on their website they don’t do travel documents and the local vacs do it only
Yep, that is correct. But, here we are talking about knowing/understanding his options. Directly from the official source.they don’t do travel documents and the local vacs do it only
LolThe citizenship application/test/interview/oath is a 1:1 process. No proxies are permitted. Anywhere in the world.
Ps.: I must admit your thread title was intriguing (can I replace my husband...)
1. Not you, let him call his local consulate.I will try calling them hope they actually answer not just voicemail
His local consulate will speak his language. E.g. Canadian Embassy at Abu Dhabi speaks Arabic. I know, I have called. He doesn’t speak English that’s why I’m dealing with all this
Somehow I knew this was coming.Yes you are right but his situation is not the same he’s in a country he doesn’t speak it’s language , embassy people would speak that country’s language just like abu Dhabi example , plus he doesn’t speak English
Sorry I meant that I am his interpreter typo error in last replyYes it’s extremely important and by the way I am happy s interpreter also.
If you is his representative send a webform inquiry explaining his situation and applied for his travel documents right away also explaining that it is urgent.Sorry I meant that I am his interpreter typo error in last reply
Someone probably has already mentioned it but to be clear - note that part of the documentation check is to validate the original documents and check that the photo on the original ID is the same as the person applying in front of you (from the interviewer's perspective). After the interview, there is a document to sign. Hence this is why it will not be possible to attend the interview on his behalf. He must personally attend.i understand but this is not the oath ceremony it is just the interview to review original documents prior to the oath
