Hello All,

I need really Urgent help.

I got an email from CIC last week as follows.

The email was from:
IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Dear xxx,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform CPC-Ottawa immediately by email to: LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

It asked me for following docs.

If you require a visa to enter Canada, then submit your passport(s):

  • Please provide your valid passport or travel document and a valid passport or travel document for each accompanying family member. An accompanying family member must have his or her own passport or travel document.
  • There must be at least two blank pages in your passport(s).
  • Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military passports or travel documents.
  • All passports must be intact and not worn, torn or otherwise damaged; the laminate on the bio-data page must be securely attached. Each page must be securely affixed to the passport; there cannot be any loose pages.
  • Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations or earlier if your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependant children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date.

But my confusion is that my account is still not updated , it still shows that my background check is in process. Other worrying thing us i have not received any message in my CIC account..

Is it normal. What shoud i do, help needed.

Thanks All

So you’re applying for PR and you really don’t know what this email means?

Anyways congrats. This is what is called the golden email and confirms you’re application for PR was processed.

What you need to do? I guess the email is pretty clear about the steps to follow.

Your account does not get updated until you send your documents in. Once they receive your documents and process it through their system, they will update your account to say it was approved. Then they send your CoPR and documents back to you. :)

Apologies for the detailed text.

Primary Applicant - Country of residence: Canada
Dependent Applicant (Spouse) - Country of residence: India
Current VISA Type: ICT for Primary Applicant. NOC: A
June 12, 2018 - AOR
June 28, 2018 - Medical Passed
June 29, 2018 - IP2 (Back ground check is in progress)
August 03, 2018 - Procedural Fairness - Change in wording in offer letter requested (Depends on the letter, they may accept/refuse)
August 11, 2018 - Reference letter submitted (instead of offer letter wording change that they expected) along with a letter from supervisor
August 20, 2018 - Called IRCC agent to check the status. Agent said "I have passed the eligibility and back ground check is started". Am not sure if the reference letter submitted last week is accepted or not and they said they are not sure if the concerned person reviewed my reference letter since it has been just a week since I submitted.

Two Questions:

1. Can I order GCMS Notes to confirm the status? While ordering GCMS request, do we need to attach any documents and mention anything in description?

2. I would like to bring my spouse here asap. Can I process different VISA for dependent applicant (living in a different country) to bring here while EE is in progress for both of us. Am afraid my EE may or may not be accepted since I did not provide the actual change of offer letter that they asked. I don't want to wait for couple of months to come to know that they are going to refuse and then start to process different VISA for my spouse.

Please help me by sharing your thoughts to take this forward. Thanks!

That's strange. I had the impression that Biometric was meant for people who submitted from July 31st.
Hi,
Yes that is what i also though, because a colleague of mine who submitted at the same time wasnt asked for any such details and got the passport request in 1 month of medical pass stage.

Yes it always does! Most of the applications which were rejected after 3-4 months are due to NOC mismatch or not clear/enough duties. This is one of the most common grounds for rejection after PCC reasons.
Hi,
I would like to know how PCC becomes a reason for rejection ?
Is it because it gets expired after 6 months ?

Hi Navin, can you please explain what they do in security screening??
Hey, I called CIC agent and she told me that eligibility is recommended pass, but has to be finalised. Also, security and criminality are pending to be checked. And my Visa Office is Ottawa and AOR- 4th July.
Can I expect my PPR in Sept ?
