Hello.
I am applying as a lecturer of medicine. My masters and earned doctorate have been assessed by WES. I am worried about 2 things:-
1- First in NOC for lecturer it says that some lecturers of certain speiliaites like medicine MAY need their license (what does that mean)
2- A lot of people are talking about the fact the doctors and pharmacists should have credentials assessed by MCC only. However my understanding is that you need MCC assessement if you are applying for specialist physician not for lecturer. ??

You are spot on. I too am a postgraduate but would be applying for a non-clinical NOC, for us and cases like ours you can apply via the WES course.

But I have a doubt, even if you apply as a lecturer in Medicine, you need to have a license IMO as doctors who are professors or lecturer need to have access to bedside to teach clinical methods etc. So my advise is to write to MCC to clarify this doubt (As WES correspondence TAT is epic!)

Hello everyone, I have finally achieved clb 9 in IELTS,my spouse will be appearing on 24th May for ielts exam, assuming her score 6,6,6,6 in all sections and after getting her Wes my score will be 455
I we don't go for her Wes than score will be 447.My birthday will be next Month and I will be loosing 5 points. Kindly suggest me shall I get her Wes done as we have her transcripts available

My second query is regarding the docs required post ITA, I have fixed deposit of 8 lakh rupees and also have few life insurance and mutual fund investment will it be sufficient as POF ?

Finally provide details of other docs required in PR process

Life insurance is not counted in POF unless you have achieved maturity. Mutual Fund might still be. If it is just you 2 who are planning to apply (as in no child) then 8-10 lacs is a safe bet.

Further apply now if you dont want to miss the age points, as age is counted from date of submission of your application

Hi everyone, I have some questions regarding Express Entry that I find confusing and I hope I am not the only one having these questions and getting these questions answered may benefit all of us.

I am preparing all documents needed for express entry program. While I am preparing these documents, I have the following confusions:

1. I started working for my previous company as a part time employee for 6 months, then after I graduated, I became a full time employee and I worked there as a full time employee for 5 months. My question is, in the work history form, should I put these two periods as two separate list items or should I put make it as one list item because they are from same company? The reason I am confused is because if I put them as two separate list items, I have to provide two Employment Records for my previous company. And in the explanation of the document(the one when you click on the question mark) it states, "You must scan all documents for this period of employment and save them as one file. (You must create a separate file for each period of employment.)". It seems that the Employment Records should contain all periods within one company.
Does anyone else have the same confusion?

2. I have two passports, one is expired but with a valid US visa on it, the other one is valid and I am currently using the valid one to travel. So do I need to scan the expired passport or just the valid one?

In the reference letter the heading says " To whomsoever it may concern" whereas in the subject it is " Employment proof for part time certification course" because i did not want to tell my current organization about my immigration plans and i told them that i would need the letter to take up a certification course. Now my concern is will the subject line be a problem? i am sure many companies do not provide the reference letters unless you state the reason and i think CIC is aware of this. I read this in the CIC news (https://www.cicnews.com/1999/05/addressee-letter-reference-05468.html#gs.ct3szns ).

Please provide your suggestion on this....

Please i just completed an EE profile and it indicates that im not eligible. more worrisome is the fact that no scores were assigned. i don't understand. I'd done crs eligibility before and i qualify for fsw. What can i do?

NOC is 0122
Ielts is speaking-7, reading-7.5, listening-7.5,writing-6.5
WES is equivalent of bachelor's degree

A few things im not sure i got right... could these be the reason for being ineligible?
*Biometrics - how i'm i to do that?
* I selected Quebec, is that wrong?
* Job Bank Profile- when should i create my profile, is it prior to EE application?

Can i ammend the details? How?
Please advise

I am also in same boat, I did my 10+3 diploma, BCA & MCA (LE) from TNOU.

1. Did you received response from WES for this query about LE and Not able to find TNOU in their list?
2. If you applied WES evaluation, did you received final report? what they mentioned in the report?
3. How did you got TNOU certificate / mark sheets attested, so that I will follow the same.
4. Did you collected personally from TNOU or they sent to WES directly.

Hi,

Can i claim two or more points for Bachelors and Completion of college level certificate(one semester) WES equivalence?

I heard some people got away with the evaluation but some were saying this is not possible.

Also, note that previosuly WES was used to give one year for the same course for which I have received one semester evaluation. So, is there anyway to revolt this situation and apply with one semester ECA? Can anyone pls suggest what can be done in this situation? Thanks

hi...i applied for visitor visa for canada and my application was rejected and a refusal letter came with a UCI. recently i received an ITA so should i mention it in my EE profile under this question: "Has **** applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before?
Moreover i forgot to mention it in my EE profile application. would that be a problem?

Hello, I did the same. I held a visitors visa from 2010 and I forgot to mention about it in my POST ITA application. Would it create any issues?
