Quick Question:
My AOR is Aug 1.
If I call CIC number and they check the status and said that you are eligible for the CEC program. Does that mean I passed the eligibility stage?
Does it also mean that my Completeness check is complete? What about my Medical? What is the next steps? and how long more?

After going through the annual report of 2017, it is clear that CIC is processing FSW and CEC applications within 4 months. Now this time is from AoR to CoPR; right? Coz, application is still in progress after PPR. Only after they issue CoPR, the case is considered to be closed. That's what I understood. Any say?

It's from R10(compleness check) to PPR

Bottom line is, as long as the application is under the CIC processing times(approx 6 months), regardless of stage, it is still on progress and not delayed(late/taking too much time). Also these IP1, IP2 etc are not really IRCC/CIC "official stages" and was just coined in the forums/net. It is a good guide but not absolutely accurate. There are so many factors and you can't really compare one application to another. Patience but act fast/do the necessary only when its past due expected processing times.
Thanks :)

Hello mates,
I have just had this question in my mind all the time. I am an inland applicant and I have applied for my TRV few days before my EE PR application. In normal cases, it should only takes 2 weeks max to be PPR for TRV but it is taking forever for me. I am just wondering if my PR application affected my TRV application. Has anybody here had a similar experience? I am asking this from the inland applicants.
Cheers.

Received PPR for TRV in 1 week with PR application in progress.
It should not affect as both are treated separately....Dual Intention

Yeah, 1-2 week is the normal processing time for TRV inland.
I got a ghost update for my TRV application few days ago. I guess I am going to request GCMS notes for my TRV application this weekend or next one. It is getting close to 2 months now!

Anyone here with AOR July 18 and medical not yet passed?
When I call cic the update is they are “we reviewing medical exam results”
Any thoughts why it is taking so long?

I see that a few applicants from July 5th and 6th have received their PPR. I was wondering if you guys received direct email or if it was a status update online? It looks like few are receiving direct email for interview or landing appointments.
