Oh we are actually in IP2 since July 13th. At least that's what everyone is assuming. They are processing background check. But eligibility isn't even recommended pass yet! So idk what they're doing!!

Same as you, my medicals passed and moved to IP2 on July 13th. Called IRCC last week and came to know that my eligibility is not even recommended pass. That's very weird.

I have a quick question, I've submitted my application June 12, I passed my medicals but the background check hasn't been started yet. Today, The Biometric option (see below) showed up ( or was it always there? I can longer remember). Can you tell me what that means?

Need your expertise on this situation:
I submitted Form IMM5406 (Family details for primary & dependent) on 8th Aug and on 9th the status changed to IP2 and additional document section said, "Review not applicable"
Today, 13th Aug, the update says "Reviewing additional documents" for additional documents section and BG check section is still IP2.
What does this mean? Will it take another month till I hear a good news?
