NOTE : Replies of already PR holders will be appreciated however anyone is free to share if they have correct info.
My CRS is 416 & met many consultants in my city. They all said that my profile is good and that I will get PR in 4-6 months. Although I don't trust them blindly bcoz I've been reading articles and following regular updates from news & this website that applicants with CRS 442+ are the one's who are getting PR in such a shorter time. But when I counter talk with same consultants they still say it is possible.
Now this thing is raising so many questions in my mind so please help me here if you have gone through this and got your PR. I'll describe everything the consultants said and some information that I've gathered through websites like this. Most of the consultants tell me these things -
1. that most of them said my CRS is 400+ and that anyone having 400+ get an invitation instantly from Ontario province. If this is the case then please tell me in which category i.e. OINP or any other category like PNP or any other that I don't know about? My occupation is Software Engineer & job duties are Web developer & designer. They say that my NOC is in high demand and therefore I'll easily and instantly get an invitation but, I read somewhere that OINP is currently closed and not opened for invitation? Is this currently as of Aug-Sept-Oct-2018 TRUE(bcoz I'll file in any of these months)?
2. If Yes, OINP is opened then, What conditions will I have to accept? Like do I have to spend some months/years in this particular province? Will I be able to travel back & forth to India anytime?
3. What If I want to move to any other province? Or and If I move to any other province will they cancel my PR or will they not renew my PR? Will that affect my citizenship? Can I move/shift permanently to any other province with the Ontario govt's permission?
4. If its not OINP then what other program is this under which they will file my PR? Is it Ontario PNP?
5. Is OINP and Ontario PNP same thing or is it different? What are the conditions under both?
6. What is the duration of OINP and any other program?
7. One of the consultants told me that I can get PR under any program similar to OINP of any other province and only thing I've to do is just land in that province and will be free to move anywhere? Is thing right? What problems will I face in the next renewal of PR?
I have many other ques. too & therefore I'll be posting & keep updating this thread with different other questions.
