NOTE : Replies of already PR holders will be appreciated however anyone is free to share if they have correct info.

My CRS is 416 & met many consultants in my city. They all said that my profile is good and that I will get PR in 4-6 months. Although I don't trust them blindly bcoz I've been reading articles and following regular updates from news & this website that applicants with CRS 442+ are the one's who are getting PR in such a shorter time. But when I counter talk with same consultants they still say it is possible.

Now this thing is raising so many questions in my mind so please help me here if you have gone through this and got your PR. I'll describe everything the consultants said and some information that I've gathered through websites like this. Most of the consultants tell me these things -

1. that most of them said my CRS is 400+ and that anyone having 400+ get an invitation instantly from Ontario province. If this is the case then please tell me in which category i.e. OINP or any other category like PNP or any other that I don't know about? My occupation is Software Engineer & job duties are Web developer & designer. They say that my NOC is in high demand and therefore I'll easily and instantly get an invitation but, I read somewhere that OINP is currently closed and not opened for invitation? Is this currently as of Aug-Sept-Oct-2018 TRUE(bcoz I'll file in any of these months)?

2. If Yes, OINP is opened then, What conditions will I have to accept? Like do I have to spend some months/years in this particular province? Will I be able to travel back & forth to India anytime?

3. What If I want to move to any other province? Or and If I move to any other province will they cancel my PR or will they not renew my PR? Will that affect my citizenship? Can I move/shift permanently to any other province with the Ontario govt's permission?

4. If its not OINP then what other program is this under which they will file my PR? Is it Ontario PNP?

5. Is OINP and Ontario PNP same thing or is it different? What are the conditions under both?

6. What is the duration of OINP and any other program?

7. One of the consultants told me that I can get PR under any program similar to OINP of any other province and only thing I've to do is just land in that province and will be free to move anywhere? Is thing right? What problems will I face in the next renewal of PR?

I have many other ques. too & therefore I'll be posting & keep updating this thread with different other questions.

1. Yes, Ontario can nominate you.
2. You will have to live in that province for some time, But most of the IT jobs are in Ontario only. And yes, you can travel.
3. You can, there are certain rules.
4. OINP and Ontario PNP are same.
5. Same
6. Any PNP takes 9-12 months for complete PR.
7. Technically you can, nobody is monitoring this thing.

Incorrect, There have been several instances when applicants have received OINP NOI at 351, 357 etc as well.

Even I agree with Mr Preet here. One important factor for receiving ITA is your NOC. There are few NOCs which are in high demand (mostly engineering & IT related). I was reading this man's forum here on this site who's CRS is 455+ but his NOC was something related to Banking sector and he was still waiting for his ITA. There are many similar cases. And another factor is luck, although I don't blv in luck but I've seen it here working with many peoples. I've seen applicant who got PNP PR in only 2-3 months & some express applicants who are still waiting since months and years.

You can frequently check the ontario immigration website to see the latest news: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/index.htm.
As far as I know, last year ontario issues invitations to individuals with targeted NOC(ICT related), even if they were below CRS400. This year, however, Ontario decides to invite applicants who are proficient in French(have CLB7 in all 4 modules). So, if you are good at French, and yes, you can be invited immediately.

what exams do i have to give to prove my french knowledge. I know abt TEF Exam. Is there any other exam?
what if CRS is 440+ then also do we have to have something spcl like french knowledge ???

Also I've read that certain NOCs are in demand like IT/engg related, I think in those cases we don't have to have exceptional thing like french knowledge, only thing is CRS should be more then cut-off

I think currently only TEF Canada is accepted for immigration purpose in Ontario and you don't need special french knowledge, and, again, you should check the province website for updates.

No, you can be invited directly by CIC through Express Entry, since recently the cutoffs of invitations were about 440.
