Got d same reply when I called last week..Didnt u ask abt BG check..My BG check yet to start..Aor 4th June..wat abt u..Just spoke to a call center agent. I asked him about my eligibility, he put me on hold for couple of minutes and then told me it is not yet officially declared as passed but going that way because currently it is "recommended passed". He also said a senior officer need to give the final decision and usually "recommended passed" file get "eligibility passed" status by the senior officer. He confirmed visa office is Ottawa.
Last time I called 3 weeks ago, an agent said eligibility is in progress and visa office Ottawa.
Is it coming soon guys?

Congratulations!Received the golden e-mail yesterday. Genuine thanks to everyone in this forum who are there to help everyone in need of time. I am an Indian-origin applicant from US and have spent a considerable amount of time in trackitt (the mud-slinging and infighting there is horrendous). Have to admit this is one of the best immigration forums around.Congratulations to all of us.
That aside, here is my high level timeline:
ITA: 23rd May
Submission and AOR: 26-Jun
MEP: 2-3 weeks aftter AOR (do not remember the date)
IP2:3 Aug
Email for PPR: 6 Aug
Hoping everyone receives their PPRs soon. I have the below Qs though:
1) Where in US can I take the photos? IS it same as US passport photo spec?
2) Have been asked to send the passport to Ottawa office. Anyone know how long it takes to get the passport back?
Thanks in advane for your wonderful replies

Criminality is based on PCC you submit. It is security/background checks which can be time consuming, differs for every applicant.@sid1987 - Do you know the difference between criminality check and security check?
I just spoke to an agent and he told me that I have passed the criminality check and the security check has not started. Does that mean I have a long wait ahead of me?
Thank you!Congratulations!
1) CVS and Walgreens seem to do it. The specs are NOT the same as US passport photos. In your email they should have given you a link to the Canadian PR photo guidelines (this is the link that was in mine: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445eb-e.pdf). Print a copy of the guidelines and take that with you to the store, because the employees don't always know what to do. I know for a fact that Walgreens has the Canadian photo specs preset in their photo printing machine thing (where you can edit photos and stuff), but whether the employees themselves know is another story.
2) Depends on what shipping method you give them. You are responsible for covering return shipping, so if you want it faster, choose a faster service.
Yeah, I had a bad time trying to get photos at Walgreens, too... the folks at CVS actually worked with me but the photo quality was severely lacking. I ended up taking some passport photos at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada last time I visited. Cost me about the same as Walgreens/CVS but 1000000% better experience and quality.Thank you!
I have had bad experience in CVS and Walgreens when I went here for US passport size photos. They are expensive too. I found Costco to be decent, but wasn't sure if they know the Canadian format.
Also,my Q regarding time for PPR was specifically about the processing time. I have my US license expiring soon, so wanted to know if it would be back in 30 days or less.
