Hello Everyone, does Canada accepts the birth certificate issued by Indian consulate for express entry?
I would say upload both, local copy and one issued by Indian consulate. Or do you not have the one issued by the country where birth took place?

in what part of the application is the birth certificate required ?

in what part of the application is the birth certificate required ?

Required for the children

Copy of birth certificate or other equivalent document
Purpose
To prove the dependent children’s relationship to the parents

Document requirements
  • This document is required only if the applicant identifies dependent children.
  • The document must be one of the following:
    • birth certificate;
    • equivalent document from the birth country; or
    • letter of explanation (where no birth certificate is available in the country).
Individuals who must submit this documentation
  • All the dependent children, including non-accompanying

The latter one. Then again, depends on the bank as well. Mine did with no hesitation, however, a friend of mine in Australia, the bank over there did not.
You are right. My bank refused giving me the letter that it's against their policy.

I do not have local from my birth place. It was not a norm for getting a birth certificate in my home town when I was born. Also, no hospital records as I was born at home.

So does it mean that it is not required for applicant and spouse? Is there a repository where we can get details on all document required.

Pardon my knowledge on subject, I have recently created EE profile and want to get started with all necessary documents.

Hello Experts, I am at 449. Hoping to get ITA on 25th July. My current work permit expires on August 31st. And I have to submit all the documents and apply for bridge open work permit as soon as I have ITA. Can someone please let me know:-

1) My company is reluctant to provide reference letter. In this case, what other documents can be submitted as a proof of employment. I have offer letter, pay stubs, salary letter and tax forms (Form 16 and T4's).
2) What documents are required to be submitted for Open Work Permit?

At crs 444, but spouse IELTs going to expire on 30th july, any chance to get ITA before that?
Regards

Until you receive the confirmation (not ITA but the AOR- Acknowledgement of Receipt of your eAPR), you have to maintain your languages results valid.

Since July 30 is so close, if you receive ITA on July 25, you have only five days to receive the AOR. You have to run. Preferably you should send the application and pay the same July 25.

Most definitely you will get an ITA if draw is conducted on 24 July. However you will need to submit your full application and get the AOR before the IELTS expires. If you are able to do that your CRS will be locked for IELTS regardless of its expiry date. Only age points are locked immediately after ITA but for IELTS, its after the AOR.
Thanx for your response, kindly tell me 1 thing if i ll be able to get ITA next draw, will it be valid till 60 days or it will dismiss as soon as my spouse IELTs will expire? Can we upgrade the IELTs result even after getting ITA?
The next nearest IELTs will be on 2nd August,

no one can tell you if you're gonna get the ITA for sure in the next draw. but at CRS 444 it is highly likely looking at the current trend. and yes if you do not submit the application within 60 days, your ITA is void. you would have to submit the application and get an AOR before the IELTS expires, if you fail to do so, you'd have to retake and resubmit the IELTS score and go through the consequential changes in CRS pertaining to your new IELTS score.
