Hi Everyone,
My brother has already finished his landing and activated his PR last year. He will be moving to Canada permanently in next few weeks. Therefore, in order to get the sibling 15 points, can I update my EE profile as soon as he lands in Canada or do I need to wait for some time ? On the documents side to claim the extra points, we are good to submit within 60 days after ITA.
Could anyone please clarify ?
There is one loophole there. However that one would require following:Nope. It should be minimum 30hours/week to be considered as Full Time. Now even if you have worked 45 hours/ Week, it will be considered based on duration not working hours.
Thanks for the advice. But, IELTS is a long shot for my wife (no offense but I know she will not be able to score good). Further, our one year old son doesn't allow her any free time for sleep, leave aside studying.ECA will take time and you are going to loose points soon. Keep in mind that IELTS for your Spouse will add quick points. Who know that get to something and an ITA.
We should not leave any stone un-turned. all the best.
Most definitely you will get an ITA if draw is conducted on 24 July. However you will need to submit your full application and get the AOR before the IELTS expires. If you are able to do that your CRS will be locked for IELTS regardless of its expiry date. Only age points are locked immediately after ITA but for IELTS, its after the AOR.At crs 444, but spouse IELTs going to expire on 30th july, any chance to get ITA before that?
Regards
Just having the highest evaluated degree by the WES or other evaluating bodies is good enough. However, sometimes case officer might ask for certificates or transcripts of bachelors while assessing eligibility. Depends on the officer mostly. But anyway, not a problem. For WES, can we just submit only the highest degree's transcript? My wife has a MBA degree from correspondence and WES is showing it as equivalent to Master's (10 marks). However, it is hard to get transcripts for other courses (BA, BEd, MEd). Will I be able to get 10 marks post her ECA?
Well done my friend. If I had hard days with IELTS, you had even harder ordeal with it. Persistence is the key and you did exactly that. See they don't say it for nothing, it doesn't matter how many times you fall, the thing that matter is how quickly you stand up after you fall. You should be absolutely proud of yourself. To some extent I know how you must be feeling. The day you got your IELTS score with CLB 9, you will never forget it in your life. I won't, although mine was a call from IDP on Jan 22 about the EOR. Many many congratulations on your IELTS score and the upcoming ITA. If you need any help with the e-APR, you can always PM me! Good luckHi all,
I was at 403 for more than a year & today I am at 472

Nope! They don't. As long as the education institute is recognized, they will evaluate accordingly assessing the credits earned with the degree.i read somewhere WES need bachelors degree too, if you are going to masters evaluation.
The latter one. Then again, depends on the bank as well. Mine did with no hesitation, however, a friend of mine in Australia, the bank over there did not.Hi guys,
Quick question. Based on IRCC requirement for POF, it's stated average balance for the past 6 months. Is it going to be stated month by month for 6 months or just total amounts summed up and divided by the 6 months?
Thanks
Let me get the transcript first for the MBA course. Will decide the next course of action then. Also will continue to search for more info till then.Just having the highest evaluated degree by the WES or other evaluating bodies is good enough.
