It is true and it is only applied to CPC-Mississauga folks. It seemed that CPC-Mississauga has a habit to skip all updates of the progress and right jump from "In Progress" to "Decision Made" in anywhere between couple days to a week. Mine was happened in the next day after I saw "In Progress" on ECAS.I have seen a lot of people going from a long stalled Application received to in process and decision made in like two days, I hope it is your case!
Hi All,
I have landed in Canada 2 months back and need to initiate the family sponsorship (family is Outside Canada)
1. Firstly, i have understood is a paper based process (unlike express entry). Please correct if i am right.
2. Do I need to be on salary/job in order to show funds. Because i have not got any job offer yet. Besides, I have maintained necessary funds in Bank accounts as per CIC family guidelines.?
3. Regarding PCC: Do i need to send original copy of PCC to CIC office for my spouse.
4. Lastly, I had applying for my PR as unaccompanied, where my spouse and child details were also provided to CIC such as Medical, PCC and personal, travel history and they were also given UCI number. Does this help in expedite the process for their (family) PR application now.
Please provide your suggestions.
Thanks,
Sounds like your application will stay in CPC-M.My starting vo is misussauga .. I did not get any file transfer mail so far... But I have received my SA med req, schedule A req.... My ecas says in process...
Cic:additional docs are being reviewed
Meds cleared
We are processing your your background...
Since they have started processing my bgc before any file transfer,, does it mean my file is staying in mississauga or they might send it later to my country
Not necessarily... Many applicants that I've seen here from the New Delhi Visa Office had their background checks started by CPC-M but were subsequently transferred. I don't know if this is the case for other offices or what visa office @Sindhu1601's application would normally be sent to, but I believe CPC-M is quite consistent with providing a letter to the sponsor if the application is staying with them.Sounds like your application will stay in CPC-M.
If the BGC has been initiated, then it will stay there.
Which number should I call to contact them from india.....Not necessarily... @Sindhu1601 could always try to call and ask whether the application is still in Mississauga or if it has already been transferred. It's strange not to get any notice, whatsoever.
Nice! Fingers crossed for yaJust saw on MyCIC that CPC-M has started processing my background check today. January 15th applicant. Hoping the end of this process is close.
Can't help directly with the question in terms of experience but I'd submit a scan of whatever contract you have that outlines the 30 days notice (and accompany it with a translation if in Italian). I think there's quite a lot riding on the "If possible" part of providing a certificate of release/discharge so they are leaving other ways of satisfying their concerns open - hopefully your contract will help with this!I just received this message on MyCIC:
Client Information: As per information provided on your IMM5669 - Schedule A Background/Declaration form, you indicated you are an active member of the Italian military. Please provide additional information on the end date of your service. If possible, please provide a copy of your Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty. This must be received at this office by: 2018/08/19
My situation is that I am on active duty right now and I am waiting to release once I will be granted permanent residency. I have no obligation with the Army as far as mandatory service goes so I can just give a 30 days notice like any other job at any given time, and this is my plan.
Do you think I should just explain this? I can't produce a certificate of release or discharge since I m not discharged right now.
Should I just handwrite this information and upload it through the webform? is there a template?
Many thanks
