Hi,

I recently got an ITA. I had marked ECA done to No for my spouse foreign education and did not claim any points. But, I am being asked to upload Spouse education documents in ITA checklist. Are they asking for ECA evaluation certificate here?

Thanks.

From the moment you have listed your spouse's education in the education section, you do claim the points. In order not to do so, you should have listed the time she spent for her education only in the Personal History section.
Normally, they are asking for an ECA evaluation; it's the only way they have to assess a foreign academic degree.

Just a question, Do we only have to mention the highest education in the education section? For example if I have a master and a bachelor, should I mention masters in the education and leave the bachelor for the personal history?

Actually, points for spouse education are not counted if ECA is marked as NO ( else I would have got 8 additional points). Anyway, I guess its better to follow your approach and mention the education only in personal history

I mentioned both since I had ECA done for both degrees.
