My details:
AOR: June 19th
MEP: July 5th

MY CURRENT STATUS:
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I hope I am in IP1 right? Also, I am active in myimmitracker.com if you guys know of. But i see that after IP1 some people have also updated their status as"Next step is conduct BG check" but not IP2 or NA2. Anybody knows what point of status is that?

Also, further to my current status what would be the next status update would be and on an average when can I expect a status update?

Thanks Man. I am getting two separate letters from India and US roles.

For india role, i've held three position, Associate Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Sr. Software Engineer.All 3 with same NOC. so i am thinking of using one 1 entry in form and employer letter mentioning roles and responsibilities for each designation. i wil mention the duration of each role in a table in letter and salary of each. is that fine?

You don’t need to make country specific entries in the form; your employer is still the same afteall. The more details you provide, the more you drag yourself in mess.
I had same situation - two designations (same NOC) and moved from India to US.
I created only one entry in the form with designations mentioned with comma separation. In reference letter, I specified the date my destination changed. Finally, I descibred duties for each role in separate sections and provided my last (US) salary details.
Someone who had obtained PR through the same approach has put a small write up somewhere on this forum about it.

The only order I've seen is that applicants who are already in Canada get to IP2 very early on (sometimes going straight to IP2 after MEP). Everyone else... no idea. I think after MEP, everyone's case is very different and their timelines are unique to their situation.

And people who are based in the US... they transition to IP2 quicker than everyone else! I guess the rest of us can only wait endlessly... It's hard not to check my profile every hour in the hope that there is some update!

I assume it's probably much quicker for them to exchange information with their US colleagues...I'm not surprised the ones who get their application processed quickly already live in Canada/US, and ones who have it progress very slowly live in countries that require a visa for travel.

This does seem to be the trend, but there are also lots of people from other countries who appear to get through quickly as well! Many hopes for quick processing for everyone (including IRCC... they've got more and more work coming their way).

As an visa-exempt EU citizen who has been living/working in Canada for 1.5 years now, I certainly hope this is the case and my application can move forward quickly, as I've been wanting to relocate and switch jobs for a while now, but can't.

Ah, thanks for doing the analysis for me! I was thinking of doing the same later today. Let's hope for a swift processing for the both of us Any plan yet on where you would like to settle down in Canada once you get your PR?

I think on this forum we're also more likely to take notice of it when an application goes wrong or takes incredibly long...from what I've been reading in this topic many people certainly can get it well under 6 months.
