How did you get to talk to an agent? I called from Skype (outside Canada) and all I got was a bunch of recorded mgs.
See following messages to see more details....but I used google hangouts ...I have called two times and it worked good.....I just called few minutes ago and the waiting time was about 45 minutes.....the agent went into my file and asked me personal details to confirm (address, email, application #, telephone ,full name and date of birth)......at the end no relevant information for me...that everything is working and everything looks ok, that I should wait for them to contact me :/

Are all remaining January in SS screening then? I read that if you're in security for more than 2 months then more than likely you're in SS screening. Just wondering.

Security for what. I really can’t understand CIC. Have police clearance from Canada n home country. Never travelled to any other country. Why security is taking too long to clear?

Don't know but was just saying. I agree that it does not make sense but when there isn't visibility for certain areas such as security then we can only speculate. Hopefully my comment is absolutely wrong.

Hi. My AOR is Jan 16th (EE FSW-Outland). Can someone please help me understand my gcms notes a little better?
  • I noticed there is an Eligibility section section and another EE Eligibility. While the EE Eligibility has long stubs with multiple assessments & subactivities around education, funds, work exp., languages, employment etc.- all are Met/Passed ; the Eligibility section has heads such as Eligibility assessment, work experience, work experience-LC, PNC, provincial endorsement, languages, education & job offer - all mentioning "0". Does this mean anything? Is eligibility passed?
  • The admissibilities section has headers: Security (blank apart from UCI and application details), HIRV (0), Criminality (Passed), Medical (Passed) and some others.
  • There is a History section within which there is an application header that contains "Security" in "Application: 1" at the top. It says Action: Updated, Old value: "Not Started", New Value: <blank>, Office: CPC-Ottawa. In "Application: 9", this field had changed from <blank> to "Not Started". Should I not bother with this section as it seems like a trace of the application/software activities
  • The Notes Section towards the end (in reverse chronological order) has the first note updated on Mar 9th 2018 with text "Attached Schedule A & Government Table". This is the most recent note. I had received ADRs for a schedule A & Government experience details in end of Feb & Mar 1st week which I had responded to.
Earlier notes from Feb 27: "No adverse info***** family composition....Items Requested - Schedule A for PA****A11.2.Assessment/R75;76 Eligibility****Passed Foreign Work Experience - Following reviews of PAs cumulative work experience, proof of income.....; I am satisfied the applicant meets requirement of A11.2/ R75;76 A11.2 Met Selection EE passed****Admissibility***Passed Medical: Pased RPRF: Paid"

Do I understand correctly from above that Security has started some time after Mar 9th but not been completed/reported yet - so it has been going on for almost 4 months now? Or is it that Security is yet to start? Can I presume this is the last step? How long can security take?

Are there any CEC-Inland applicantsin the group still waiting for the PPR ?
I am waiting. 5 and half month now. Gonna complete 6 months on this 18th July. Applied for GCMS since April and never got back from them. Called 5 times in 5 months and heard that your application is in order n no need to provide any other document. Raised CSE to get the status and received response and that says “Your file has all required documents and its with the visa office and should you be contacted as soon as decision is reached”. In short, if you are waiting then there is no answer that why your app is on waiting. We can assume many things but can’t reach to resolution.

Did they tell you if your eligibility, criminality, bgc is completed or not?

In my first GCMS notes, they mentioned;

Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security & Criminality: not started

That GCMS note i got in end of March.

Then, I applied for 2nd GCMS in April which should arrived in May but never got it

Yes, me and my husband! AOR Jan 14. Tired of waiting.
I am AoR 6 ApR, waiting for the BGC to be completed for me. My spoues’s BGC is done.
I have had extensive travel history(72 trips in total) and were earlier based in UAE for a good 15 yrs.
Eligibility and Criminality part is completed as well(at least as per the agent).
I was wondering why does it get completed so quickly for certain CEC I applicant where as others get stuck for ever :(
