Well you know i wouldn't get too hung up on that kind of stuff... Not all VOs update ECAS or GCKey as they should. I have seen some people where they have had no updates/changes in their accounts and then it all happens across a few days.

Well don’t worry mine has started and it’s be 8 and half month almost and no response. I am an October 2017 applicant as well.

What more frustrating is that I have sent an email mail to LVO 22 days ago to know the status of my application and still they haven’t bother to respond

I would say that they expect you to look through GC notes? I wouldn't bother to email them as they chronically ignore.

I think bc started on 25th of may sth. Almost month ago. No decision made for now on both method. But every case is different. Mine could be little problematic. So have to wait, i guess.

So , I got my PPR email today! I am so excited about it, and here is the first place I thought about to share the news, cause you are the people go through the 8 months process with me together. Thank you for all the help and support during the process, and good luck to everybody!

Actually, I still have one question to ask: I got the PPR email this morning. And I check GCKey after, it is still the same, BGC in process, nothing about Final decision. Same as ECAS, only has DM, but didn't mention they already sent me the PPR email. Is it still normal?

Since they already sent out the email, I thought in GCkey Final Decision would show as "Approved", and in ECAS would mention they sent me a corresponds.

Unfortunately not all the systems seem to marry up and update at the same time.

It's common. I have seen people receive their COPR and their GCKey still hasnt updated.

From what I've read on this message board, it appears that GCKey does not get updated until they dispatch your passport with the visa. This is relating to what I've read regarding New Delhi Visa Office, it may be different with other visa offices.
