your DM was april 17th mine was may 24th so i guess i am at least one month away ... i wouldn't be mad if it's in a month but with IRCC you always fear the worst

Yes, me and my son. I have DM, he hasn't. Could it be a reason? He has one trip without me.

Do you really believe that it works that way? I think if there is a lesson to be learned from this entire process is that everything happens quite randomly. It's not that simple I'm afraid.
Personally I have decided to plan my summer without worrying about the oath: I can't put my life on hold for something that may or may not come who knows when. I have a fairly intensive travel schedule, and I am planning it all as normal: if and when I receive the oath invitation I will deal with it.
I have already informed IRCC of trips longer than 2 weeks, and hopefully everything will be ok.

1:00 PM is your reporting time. Your ceremony will start at 2:00 PM. On website, actual start time is listed.

Yes, I had checked their website, but what is reporting time? The full message is:

We sent you a notice on June 18, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

For test it had said:
We sent you a notice on January 31, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 15, 2018 at 12:45 PM.

and I was asked to appear on 12:45 PM

I think I have to call them if I don't receive any email until next week.

If you go to the sheet and filter montreal you will notice that about 80% of people get invited to oath approx 2 months after DM and they are invited by order of DM that's why i have some hope. However there is always exceptions that's why i said that i fear the worst with IRCC.
