Many of us would have quite interesting journeys towards the Canadian PR! I was just checking the earlier draws and saw that you were hit by the 3-week draw in March and again (potentially) denied on verge of ITA due to this 3 week gap. But I sincerely hope and wish you get your deserved ITA within next 1-2 months :)
Yes, indeed journeys are very interesting. Also lot of learning on the way. Ya that 3 week draw did hit me pretty badly. When i think back now i should have got into pool in Feb. I wanted to land sometime in Feb'19. Hope still can do it.

Sorry I am relatively new here.
Tell me - do I need to inform my current company after submitting all the documents? Can’t I explain in the relevant section that I havent disclosed my intention to my current employer so appreciate not calling them. I guess it’s pretty genuine from my point of view.
During background checks they do call employers though not in all cases.

Awesome. Why wasnt I part of this excellent forum before?

Anyways - employment reference letter isn't same as experience certificate? I mean, it mentions my designation, from and to date, my company name and has a signature. Besides my designation excatly matches the NOC Code I selected.

My previous employers have all been brought over by others.. so too difficult to reconnect with them, besides i am not sure if they would be interested in issuing a reference letter as such
Its not the same. Reference letter has your Roles and responsibilities listed on it. Which should match with NOC discription. Incase, they don't application will be rejected.

Following is the reference letter requirement taken from canada.ca. I can't locate the page link now, had copied it sometime back :)

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
  • if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

What do you mean? If i have 400+ im eligible to apply for OINP rite?
You're eligible for OINP, but you cannot apply on your own. Ontario province will pick up profiles according to NOC code and other requirements from 400+ CRS range and send NOI to them. Then you have to submit your application against it with all required documents. If they're OK with your application, they'll nominate you for OINP and 600 points will get added to your CRS. Then you get ITA in the next draw after that :)

Hey Jaspreet,
Congrats on being in the sweet spot CRS score of 456...

Regarding your query, It does not matter if the position is lower or higher... as part of your "reference letter" you should include both experiences..
- Position# 1 - Job Title - Start date(YYYY/MM/DD) - End date(YYYY/MM/DD)
Followed by job responsibility for this role

- Position# 2 - Job Title - Start date(YYYY/MM/DD) - End date(YYYY/MM/DD)
Followed by job responsibility for this role

This letter should include your working hours/week and your annual salary package and other benefits if any(it should be on your office letter head) and signed by a responsible person within your org.
Ensure that there is no gap in between these 2 positions. If you have a promotion letter available include that along with other relevant docs like offer letter, salary slips etc.

From the EE application, you should mention in job title section:
"Administrative Officer, further Operation Office Supervisor"
Use the NOC code of Operation Office Supervisor, where you have to include the Four digit NOC code.

Thank you so very much for helping in me so much detail @bimale4bipeople ... that would help me a lot buddy.... appreciated
