Dear expert,

I have got my refusal for Canada temporary Resident visa. I m Malaysia citizen and applied from my country Malaysia . The reasons given why My application was refused were (1) You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors including (a) travel history (b) purpose of visit.
In my application I did attached my return ticket and my purpose of visit is for tourism for 7 days. I had travelled to many countries, I have USA visa expired in 2028.
Despite all those i m welcome to reapply and all new applications must accompanied by new processing fee. My concern is what if I reapply they refuse my application again, and processing fees it’s not cheap. What is your advise , can I use my old application and go to visa centre myself to be interviewed without paying another processing fee.

You have to pay the fee again if you want to reapply. No - you cannot use your old application and go to the visa centre to be interviewed.

Yes - if you reapply, it's certainly possible you may be refused again.

If you want to reapply, you should provide much stronger evidence of your ties to your home country (e.g. employment, property, etc.).

If you are just coming as a tourist why not go to another country?
Canada (Niagara Falls) is in my bucket list of must visit place. I will be in Detroit next month and I was thinking it will be nice to go for bike ride to Niagara Falls. Never expect that it’s so difficult to get a tourist visa to Canada .

Thanks for reply, I will reapply as I still have enough time.

Just like to point out that if you are going to say you are going to be coming from Detroit for a visit to Niagara Falls, it’s accessable and can be viewed from the US. Not a particularly good reason to enter Canada. You will want to expand on the purpose of visit to include more than an attraction that can be seen with your US visa.

Thanks. That will be handy if I can use my US visa to go to Niagara Falls. My purpose to go there more on holidays and attraction. Since this is my first visit to Canada so I don’t know what

Yeah, I main reason to go to Canada is for tourism purposes. If I can use my US visa to cross the border that will be handy as I’m going to travel with my American workmates.

A portion of Niagara Falls is in the US so you don't need a Canadian visa. You can try again to apply for a Canadian visa but not at the border.
