Hi,

I applied for a visitor visa for Canada from India on 2nd of Feb this year. On 13th Feb I received msg that it is refused.

I applied online through CIC.
I am currently employed in Saudi Arabia.
I have good travel history. Have about 16k CAD in account. Yet it was refused.
Below are the reasons which were cited by the officer

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

I don't understand how to proceed further. I did include a hotel booking.
Return flight.

Now my question is,
When can I reapply and how to clear these concerns.

P.S I am working since four years in Saudi Arabia. I have a bother who is on work permit in Canada. I also had added a return visa to Saudi Arabia. Plus I have visited Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Your travel history will be seen as weak. IRCC is looking for previous travel to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK.

How long a visit did you request? What proof of ties did you show?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to travel so far and spend so much money for a 5 day vacation.

Sorry, I stated for 15 days visit.

Now how should I proceed further. I am also planning a USA trip along with Canada
