ECAS and MyCIC/GCKey are two separate systems. To see your application in MyCIC you have to link it to your profile first. If you have a representative they do this on your behalf and you will not have access to this system.

If you are not using a representative, you first have to create a GCKey login, then link your application in the MyCIC portal using your application number or UCI and personal details. This system gives a more detailed look at the process of the application than ECAS.

Note, calling IRCC's automated phone system and going through the options to check your application status will also play a recording of the same information that's displayed on MyCIC even if you don't have a linked account. Call 1-888-242-2100 from within Canada or using an online system, or from outside of Canada dial +1 (613) 944-4000, then select option 1 (for English) then 1-1 and you'll be put through to IRCC's menu.

No Aor2 but assuming the 2nd line in ecas is my Aor2

ECAS : 5 lines
We received permanent residency app on December 2017

We started the processing on april 30, 2018

We send correspondence......22 feb 2018

We send correspondence .....12 april 2018

Medical results received.

Is my application going normal way..? How much time it will take to get PPR OR PRE ARRIVAL SERVICE MAIL.

Today my wife called the CIC and asked the file .. The automated machine said we cant find the file under your name and our all agents are busy right now.
My wife is sponsor And i am PA .

Medical Request 12 April

Additional documents provided with the medicals. (Including birth certificate and old school certificates )23 April

Sponsor Approved 25 April

What is this "recently transferred" thing you speak of? I just want to see that my sponsorship has been approved and I'll be as happy as a pig in mud lol.

just curious - our Ecas changed to 'In Process' weeks ago but we've received no correspondence for 2 months. No file transfer or no 'We are processing so and so's application' email... is this normal? Or should have we received something around the time Ecas changed? confused

Nope, no approval yet. I called last week and was told there's nothing that they can see that I should be concerned with. Interestingly, on the 'October' thread there are people who, after waiting seven months, have not yet heard anything as well.

About two months ago I stopped trying to rationalise it all

just curious - our Ecas changed to 'In Process' weeks ago but we've received no correspondence for 2 months. No file transfer or no 'We are processing so and so's application' email... is this normal? Or should have we received something around the time Ecas changed? confused

My wife got the pre-arrival on 3rd May. However, from IRCC call centre,s automated voice recorded service I was informed that they are reviewing her eligibility, reviewing the additional documents, passed medical, no interview required, no fingerprint required and back ground check has not started. So, why they give pre-arrival, i am confused. Can you tell actually at which stage we are, how long it will take to get ppr

First of all congo.. For your pre arrival mail.. You will get the PPR soon . Once you get the pre arrival it means your are almost through .

AOR : 25 january
PCC and Schedule a Submitted : 20th February
SA : March 9

AOR 2 : 7th March
Start processing : 6th March
MR and CSQ request : 4th April
Medical passed 12th April

CSQ applied : 26th March
CSQ received : 7th May
CSQ submited : very soon
Pre arrival : 3rd May

waiting for next communication

But still they are reviewing eligibility and background check has not started yet. So I guess, progress of our file is not much. to my mind, recently they are issuing lot of pre arrivals, So, they give it randomly
