December 27 applicant. Permanent Residency Application Status changed to Decision Made. GCKey hasn't updated. I assume this is ok (and GCKey will update soon)?

Just received an update that the medical passed :) Once I provide Mississauga with some documents demonstrating my intent to reside in Canada should my wife be granted permanent residency, what's next?

So my wife completed her medical about two weeks ago and, just yesterday, received a letter from CIC asking that I (the sponsor) submit the following: "Please provide proof that your sponsor intends to reside in Canada when you become a permanent resident. This includes but is not limited to...

So just got an email with an attached PDF indicating that the residency app will be processed at CPC Mississauga. Yay?

Hey all, is or any able to access the list of panel physicians on the CIC website: www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx I've had no luck across multiple devices and figured the site is having problems.

I also might add that we've been requested to do a medical and background check is in progress. :-)

Ah ok, I'm Canadian and my wife is Australian. I actually called Mississauga earlier this week to inquire and the agent was perplexed as to why sponsorship had taken six months and no movement. He said he would leave a note with the case processing officer. Maybe my persistence played a part.

Sure! We crossed customs and migration at Pearson International Airport im Toronto. We did this via air. :-)

December 27th applicants as well and still no sponsor approval. Although this won't be comforting, becoming frustrated won't help. The turnaround time is 12 months so you're well within the accepted processing limits. Hope things pick up steam for you though :)

So just checked out our application status (on the site that's not through GCKey) and the permanent residency application status went from Application Received to In Process. Sponsorship status is still In Process lol Whatever though, after nearly 4.5 months I will take that update haha

I'm in the same boat as you - December 27th applicant; AOR1 on Feb 15th; submited PCC and Sched A on Feb 17th; called CIC on May 7th and told there's nothing to be concerned with. Hang in there :)
