IMM 0008dep should be filled out only if there are more than 5 dependents, otherwise it does not need to be filled out, right?
Right you are.

oh..yes it must be 1 form with main applicant and 2 dependents. you delay your case:cool:

@YULIA-2016 thank you for your response. So you meant only one form needed to be submitted.

Also just want to re confirm, since I’m the sponsor to sponsor my parents.

In IMM1344 question 6 , what’s should I choose “Parent” or “ child”

Please guide.

IRCC has updated that question to be much simpler than it used to be. The question on the 2018 forms now reads "The principal applicant (say, your Father) is your ?". Obvious answer should be parent. Father cannot be your child.

I have a question about signatures. Is it OK if I send the files to my parents and they sign it and scan it and email it to me? Because I am in Canada and they are in our home country.

No, scanned signatures are unacceptable. Have to be originals. Parents need to courier them back to you.

much better now :)

OK and how long does it take for the courier?
Can somebody sign on their behalf?

It depends on where your parents are. I got the documents back from Pakistan in 3 days.

The best way would be to send the documents to them by email. Let them print an sign and send the signed documents back to you with the fastest shipping option available over there.

NO, nobody can sign on anyone's behalf.

Fact.
@Agharr1 double check that you are using the latest form. It should say IMM 1344(02-2018)E on the bottom-left of the page.

I have a friend coming from my country maybe he can bring the documents with him.

I will become Canadian on May 11th, and I am waiting to send my parents package after that to note on the forms that I am a citizen. Can I send it right after May 11th?Or it is better to right down my status as permanent resident and send it now?

What is the current processing time for PGP application ? and when do they get medical request ?

Even I am interested in this. I was looking at sheets & it says entire process is taking 1 to 3 years which is wide range. Any particular pattern, which applications are taking short time & which ones upto 3 years?
