Hi everyone,
My first post on this website... I got ITA couple days ago, and I'm currently filling out the forms online.
I'm originally from China (country of origin), and was in the US from 2014 to 2017 for master's degree program and working, and then got relocated to Canada. Before I started working in Canada, I flew back to China and stayed for a month. Technically, during my life, I've never been to any other country. The only thing I could recall is that my flight was once transferred in Korea, and I never left the airport, so I guess this doesn't count.
In this case, China is my country of origin. US, during my stay there, was my country of residence, and Canada, as I'm currently working here, is my current country of residence. Does this mean that I could leave travel history blank?
Regarding personal history, I put everything except for the working experience that I want to claim for points here. However, for the educational programs I attended, should I list them such as "from 2009 - 2014, I was studying in university" and then list the internships individually aside the program itself, or should I split the program into semesters and then put the internships into the slots between each semester (which creates a lot of empty slots as now I have to identify each summer and winter vacations that I didn't work between semesters)?
other quick questions:
Since I'm applying to the skilled worker category and currently working legally in Canada, I assume that I don't have to provide a proof of fund?
FBI clearance letter from US is valid as long as it was issued after my departure and I didn't enter US after the issuance?
Thanks for your time, appreciate it!
