I think around June or July will move our papers . So let's just wait and be patient . Hihi:);)

So...job starts in Canada at the beginning of June and Sponsorship is still "In Process" and PA is still "Application Received"

I tried calling a few weeks back and got the standard "blah, blah, blah, if you're outside of Canada we can't blah, blah blah". I'm thinking I should just call again and see if there's any updates.

Any ...thoughts?

I think try both - calling them and sending enquiry via IRCC Webform. Also let them know your timeline.

So I just called and, after spending 7 minutes going through phone menus and prompts, I was told that the call couldn't be transferred to an agent because of a high call volume lol.

Yeah, we also got that before. Just continue to try. Did you try the IRCC Webform?

The IRCC processing target is 80% of all cases within 12 months. Calling them will not make things go faster, and it's of no concern to them that you have a job starting in June. If you only applied in December 2017, you should anticipate that the application won't be completed until December 2018. But even that's not a guarantee.

That's not to say that many cases get processed a lot quicker, but IRCC won't speed things up based on individual circumstances.

Hello,

It’s a good sign as it means that she passed eligibility and they believe in your relationship. Next is background/security checks.

Far too often I've seen on these forums that person X sees Y status but then calls IRCC and Y status doesn't reflect the actual case. It's that little bit of hope that this so happens to be the case :)

I went through the immigration process when moving to Australia (from Canada) and so I'm totally aware of the processing times, circumstances and extended periods of 'nothingness' while an application is reviewed.

Thanks for your feedback though :)

Thanks Ukrainain girl,

Can you guess how long we should wait for PPR. Just a generalised idea.
Thank you
