Form updates alert - October 2017

I talked to an agent today just to be safe. They told me that it is better to submit the updated forms, because they weren't given any information regarding the acceptance of the previous versions. Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news

Yah but common sense dictates there will be some leeway for applications that have the odd form that are only recently out of date. Obviously if you send in an app with a bunch of forms from a year or 2 ago you wont get it accepted.

You are not. There is always a grace period when they update forms. This happened already to July applicants, not a single one got the application returned for out-of-date forms.

you are right. I reconfirmed this from different sources that there is a grace period for the updates. There are many people who already worked on their previous versions application forms which took them more than a month to complete. So its not fair if they need to do it again for a recent update. This is the reason there is a grace period for more than 1 month for those people to submit their completed forms who worked on the previous versions.
I sent my application package yesterday using the previous/older versions of the forms. It is acceptable, so I don't think we should waste out time and effort to redo the same thing. We are perfectly ok to submit our application using previous versions as there is a grace period. Thanks

One grace period that was "publicized" was for the new checklist that was released in June, the old one was allowed to be used until mid-July. So it's not unreasonable to assume that they probably give at least about a month of leeway/grace period/etc when it comes to old forms.

Particularly as there's up to 2 months delay atm to receive AOR - so the forms filled out a month before they changed are still sitting in a trolley somewhere prior to processing.

It's more like 6 weeks to AOR for applications sent to CPC-M.

For sure. They were updated THE DAY i sent my application (24th - see my signature) and i literally caught it an hour before sending, and i had checked them the previous night. You are fine.

Can't help you there I'm afraid as I didn't do OWP app. But if there was an update Oct 2017 id imagine it was same day as the other forms. Maybe the call centre would be able to tell you.

Does anyone have a copy of the Document Checklist from October 2017 still?
I've been working away on the application and they just updated it a week ago or so and said that they will accept applications with the older version of the checklist until March 15. That's great news for me except I don't have a copy of that checklist! I only have the checklist from June 2017 and I think that was is too old to use?
Someone please help!

I already validated and signed my forms to be submitted today and noticed the forms have been updated in february. Should I fill out the updated form or can still submit the old version.
checklist differs now as it requires you send in police certificate along with application as oppose the old version. Please I need help on what to do

You need to send all the updated forms.

You need to send in the updated forms, if you send in the old ones your application will be returned to you.
