Thank you! Pero if they already sent the application sa Manila Visa Office, is that usually the signal na they started background check na? Medyo naguluhan kasi husband ko, we thought na nagstart na BC since January 3 pinasa sa MVO application ko but when he called sa call centre ng IRCC sa Canada, there's an automated message after he entered our application details and said na they haven't started the BC yet.

You have to check your gckey account in a regular basis to know when background check starts. It will change from ' We will let you know when we start your background check' to 'We are processing your background check'. I never got an email when they changed it.

Hello po.. Ask ko lang po.. Ang status po ngayon ng application namin ay medical has been received.. Meaning po b nun ay we passed the med exam? What comes next po..thank you and god bless us all..

Yes. They (IOM or St Lukes) normally will call you or let you know if you didn't pass the medical and tell you what your health problem is, and if you need to undergo treatment.

After ma transfer ang file, mga ilang weeks/months po bago mag send ng pre-arrival? Thanks.

Depende, in my case, 6 months.

Once ba na nasa MVO na ung papers? How many months kaya before cla magrequest nang passport?

Be patient po dahil mine took 9 months from the time it was sent to MVO. But wag mag alala coz others' waiting time was really short - the shortest that I know of - was four months to six months for the whole process.
