I want to thank everyone for creating this thread and maintaining it with updates. This thread was very useful to me and I didn’t follow any October threads. I haven’t received my oath letter yet but I was told that I could expect my ceremony in May next month.

From people I've spoken with, they do seem to get through it in under 2 hours. Personally I would plan for longer so that you're not stressing about parking.

Update! Just got email for test on May 1! I believe there will be some other people on the waiting list getting it as well.

One question: I just got one email and it didn't specify any name. In my case I and my spouse have the same email address in the application form, so I assume it is normal? @pepe84, can you share if that's the case? If so, I just have to print out two copies of the invite notice and prohibitions form, right?

I can answer you actually: Me and my wife use the same email address. We got only one invitation email, no name specified on it. I called CIC and the agent said it is okay, we were both scheduled on the same day, there should be no problem if we just go on test date even if you we don't receive invitation, what is important is to bring the list of documents listed in the email. He was correct. On test date (last week) they had our names listed for test and things were okay. I suggest you call CIC to confirm

Thank you. I wasn't actually expecting the test invite since I know a lot of you are still waiting and theoretically some of you should get it before I do. When I got the email, I also thought that a few of you will have it as well, but it doesn't seem like anyone else has reported receiving the invite yesterday yet.

Anyway, I truly hope that you guys and everyone else get it really soon, maybe in the next couple of days. I do believe that before end of April we will have at least another 4-6 people getting test invite.
