Parent Sponsorship 2018 - Income (LICO)

Hey, I have been trying to call CIC lately, but no luck. For LICO, I am 1500$ short in 2015, but with significantly higher incomes in 2016 and 2017. I have been invited for Sponsorship from the draw, and want to sponsor both my parents. Anyway, can I still apply, or I absolutely have to meet all 3 years for LICO for all 4 family members?

If no then WHAT'S MY BEST BET NOW? APPLY ANYWAY, WITH AN EXPLANATION LETTER MAYBE?

I will still take the risk. I make 15-20k more since 2016, and 1500$ less in 2015 is such a bad luck. I understand I will lose my Processing Fees money, but I may get the other Provincial money back if I get refusal? Also, refusal doesn't mean I can't re-apply right?

Why would you "take the risk"? You need to meet the LICO, and you don't. Ridiculous.

Also why did you apply despite not meeting the LICO? You basically took away an eligible sponsor's spot

You will get rejection after 2-3 years
For that period you cannot apply again.
I have seen this for 2014 cases. get rejected for less than 100$ short in one year. 1500$ is large amount
Check 2014 parents threads for this info as what happen with people.

You will get rejection after 2-3 years
For that period you cannot apply again.
I have seen this for 2014 cases. get rejected for less than 100$ short in one year. 1500$ is large amount

Thanks! I guess I just have to wait for next year then! It's unfortunate that I take someone's else spot and short by 1200$ only in just 1 year.

Talk with accountant. See if u can reassess that year 1200$ short income .And pay more tax for the year back dated , due to income that you may not declare or forget to declare.
For example , you may be driving UBER during the weekends & fail to declare that income to CRA

While filling income form IMM5768 .Add updated assessed income also in the table where period of income is asked. No need to give 3 last years NOAs ( do not fill IMM5748) , instead just fill form that give full authory to cic to talk with cra about your income
lottery u got this year may not get for next 5 years. By the time CIC contact with CRA, u new updated income of that year is what CRA should have . Best of luck .

Talk with accountant. See if u can reassess that year 1200$ short income .And pay more tax for the year back dated , due to income that you may not declare or forget to declare.

Suddenly find income from 3 years ago. Hopefully the individual declared all their income the first time and is unwilling to commit fraud now.
