If your application closes befor december then you dont need biometrics.But after that you might need it.No need to worry about biometrics anyway.They can take it when you are submitting passport through vfs for visa stamping.

Maryam It depends on the visa offiicer.But the email will come to your parents email unless you havent appointed yourself as a representative.
