Hello,
My husband and I had our exam same day on Feb 14th,
- My husband status is Decision made
- My own status is In progress

What does it mean? Should I expect a questioner?
or Should I contact them to follow up?

Thanks.

It likely means your background check has not completed yet. Most likely it's your security clearance that has not been completed yet.

This is common. Everyone's timeline is different, even for couples.

It's not very likely that you will be asked for more information. It's not impossible, but usually such requests come sooner after the interview.

You don't need to contact IRCC. They will not be able to tell you much anyway, as the security clearance process is handled by a different agency. They'll update your case once all the results of the background check are in but this can take quite a while.

I highly doubt that it's going to take months - few years ago RQ delayed a lot but lately it's much faster

Yessss that was my worry! Let’s hope so!
no not necessarily years or year ,, there is forum member here in August from TORONOT ,, he was asked the full package ( RQ + FP ) ,, and he got his citizenship last month ,, our problem is the local office (Montreal) where the process time is getting longer and longer

If you call them, they will certainly be able to tell you if background and security clearance are completed.
They gave me that info over the phone.

Good luck!

it is actually question of luck ,, sometimes u fall on a nice and helpful agent ,, sometimes u would run out of ur luck and u had this lady who repeating the classic answer ( u are in normal process time )
