Need help: WES says HEC hasn't posted correct diploma/degree

Hi everyone.

I am stuck with this problem since mid March. WES had accepted my MBA degree earlier (Feb 26), however, at that time, they were waiting for my Higher Secondary Certificate (Matric/Inter) documents.

When they did receive the HSC documents, they accepted those and updated status, however, changed my MBA degree status to Not Accepted.

I called them and emailed them to clarify the reason, however there was no response. Yesterday, the call center person told me that there is some discrepancy noted at the time of evaluation update and hence the process has been put on hold. He asked me to contact HEC. I contacted HEC and they showed me that correct data has been posted (even shared snapshots).

I don't understand what can be done next. This is extremely frustrating. Can anyone help please?

I called them and emailed them to clarify the reason, however there was no response. I would say leave WES and go for ICES or IQAS (if time doesn't matter) evaluation instead. IQAS asks for degrees sent by the institute itself rather than through HEC, which wasn't a problem for me even though I do not live in Pakistan.

Whats ICES?

I was told WES was better/faster than IQAS. I don't mind it but I'll have to go through the entire process all over again.

As for the entire process, I know I can't seem to think of a solution to this since WES's customer service is pathetic.

As mentioned on ICES website:

"The estimated processing time for an ECA is approximately eight weeks from the date on which all required documents are received in our office."

Just an update on this:

I have approached HEC to update my degree name for conformation. Let's see how it goes.

Would you be kind enough to answer one question for me regarding ICES? I have submitted my online application yesterday and will have my bachelors degree and transcript emailed to them by my university tomorrow.

The question I had was, do I need to send my secondary education documents as well if I want to get an ECA for my bachelors degree? The website is kind of confusing.

I did O and A levels, would you happen to know if it would be okay to send attested (in official sealed envelopes) equivalence certificates for matric and FSC? Also, IBCC doesnt mail them. Can I mail that sealed envelope myself?

Yes equivalence certificates will be fine. Request them to seal your envelope & mail it to ICES directly.
