Hello All,

Below is my condition:
I have received ITA , and I am living in canda from last 2 years on Work permit .

My age is 29 , but due to family history I have diabetes from last 2 years( in my 27 age) and using medication in Canada. As part of immigration medical check up I went to doctor

1. Doctor said ,as you have diabetes , they want to do some additional blood tests. Then I said in last January 2018 my diabetes doctor as part of his check up he done some blood tests. I showed them , then she said these are not old then 3 months so they are fine and she took copy of them. In those reports ha1c 6.3 ( normal is 6) , and creatine is normal (good) , and that day blood glucose is 8 ( normal range is 7) . I showed my medications and then she written name of those in a paper.
2. Doctor checked my blood pressure , first time it is 161/88 . Later she said that I will do one more time then it is 159/88 , she said it is reducing and asked that do your family members have blood pressure history , I said No.
3 . Later took blood samples
4. Later X-ray

That’s it .
She said you can leave , and said she will send reports to CIC.

Now what are the chances of getting Medicals pass?

From my observation on many candidates with diabetes on the form, it only takes time to get your Med passed.
As long as your diabetes are on control with pills and you are keeping yourself in healthy condition, shouldn't be worrying about it.
Since you already re-do your medical, you might pass your medical soon else CIC might refer you to further tests, but you will eventually be okay.
Haven't seen any candidates who got rejected due to diabetes unless it caused any severe other diabetes-related diseases. Good luck on your result!
