I attempted IELTS today...Felt listening went too bad due to difficulty level ...Reading was also bit difficult at least last part
Ohh is it!! Exactly what my wife felt about the test... I thought she might have been wrong but didnt think it would be a common phenomenon..

Hi guys,

will it be a problem if anyone has given 4 to 5 years as total work experience for fsw point scale of 67. The applicants total experience is 4.5 years but in the same noc for which he is claiming points is 3.75 years. He can show the total work experience in reference letter. In this case, will it be okay or he should withdraw and recreate his profile again to make the changes?

thank you for your reply...

Guys I am claiming points for the only job I had and really worried about work reference letter. Please please help me as my life is in limbo and I am really stressed out (noc 2263).

I have been unsuccessful to get a work experience letter from my prevoius employer (hospital) and people still employed there. My question is, can I get it from a coworker who left her job 3-4 months before I resigned? She supervised me for a very short time when she was the chief nursing officer, she was forced to resign as a CNO, and we worked together really close for almost 25 months in total (I am claiming 2 year work experience).

She is studying to be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) so she is not working now. Will this be a problem if I get a reference letter from her? She is OK with giving her phone number, email, and NP student ID.
Thanks in advance.

Keeping 456 in mind, I hope it will not be 456 again. Wishing it would be around 440. God bless us.
I just checked the latest EE pool points distribution; there has been an increase in competitors within the range of 450-460. Thou it seems impossible that it will go down around 440, hopes are still high. Good luck an God bless us!

Any predictions about how many of us are above 450?

Hey,

I understand your worries. But remember for every problem there is ALWAYS a solution.

Check this link below. I trust this lawyer opinion and I think he's famous on YouTube when it comes to Canadian immigration.

Good luck and you will get an ITA dont worry.

Predicting 452. That should clear the people with higher points and leave the floor for the lower points

I think the CRS point will drop just like last year (maybe around 420's). I read something today in the news that IRCC will get 747 million Dollars to support immigration plans (2018 - 2020). In my opinion, I think IRCC will use some of this money to recruit more IRCC staff members....that is because the number of ITA's will increase drastically (which explains why IRCC will hire more staff)....Overall, this means the CRS points will drop due to the increase in ITA's (probably in the next few months).

Here is the link to the news:

Anyone else would like to chime in??

Well, I just gave the test with 2 days of prep, I think my US XP helped a lot as I have been writing a lot of documents for my job here. Also, the Master's am doing requires me to write a lot of papers. For writing, just structure it in a way so that you are telling a story and don't bother using fancy words. Speaking was always a problem for me as am an Introvert, could have done better if I had the confidence. Rest of the sections, don't overthink, answers are generally the ones that are obvious.

Thank you very much..useful tips, makes perfect sense..
