Hello every body
I'm new here
My application sent 13 Oct 2017
Aor 25 Dec
Test invite 17 of Jan
Test done 21 mars
Montreal
Family..im and my wife
...the problem. .after I passed the test and thank God we passed in the test ..but the problem is the interview with the agent was so bad
She asked us to translate our passports stamp..although just we have only 3 stamp
And 2nd thing ..she asked us to give her our equivalent of our study...!!!
I told her..why should I submit my equivalent of my study although no one asked me to bring it
3rd...asked my wife to bring some paper proved that she was follow up with a doctor during the pregnancy ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My thought. May be asked my wife to bring that notice from the doctor follow due to she have about one year without any study or work..and the agent asked her..what you did at that year?
So my wife told her she was tired due to pregnancy ..ect??
I didn't understand what was all that??
Especially she told us we are passed the test and she will send us an email mentioned all these requirements??
And told us after we sent the requirements ..we will be ok and we will wait oace ceremony ..
I wonder is that occurred to any person?!!
And that will delay my DM ...and ceremony invitation

How can I translate the stamps. and where should I send them?

You should, in the near future, get a letter asking for the documents the citizenship officer mentioned. That letter will tell you where to send the documents.

You can get started on the translations; you don't need to wait for the letter to do that part, as you know they want it. The requirements for a translation are described in https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/canadian-citizenship/admininistration/general-file-processing/applications-translation-documents.html

It is probably easiest to search for a certified translator in your city, and then send them colour copies of the pages in your passport that have stamps that need translating. They will do the translation (for what's usually a small fee per stamp) and send you that, with their seal or stamp and identifying information (so IRCC knows they are certified).

(To find a translator: every province has an organization of translators and interpreters. Most will provide a search feature on their website that lets you find translators for specific languages.)

In Process: 13 Dec 2017
Test Invite Letter: 19 Feb 2018 (by email)
Test Interview Date: 21 Mar 2018 (19/20, 16/20, all passed)

We completed our exam and interview yesterday, along with ~100 of our closest friends :)

After the exam, we all gathered in another large room to wait for our name to be called for interview. My name was called last, they informed, because of the 12-pages of physical presence calculation. They spent a considerable amount of time before interview working to correlate my physical presence calculation report with the ICES report from CBSA (record of re-entries into Canada). So we spent over an hour working to add my passport stamps to the mix and verify everything. It turned out that a few of my business trips did not make it into the physical presence calculator (remember how many times their web calculator crashed when entering the information?). So we spent some time extracting travel dates from my passport stamps.

I offered to re-submit a more complete physical presence calculations but they declined. I also offered the passport stamp translations but they were not required either (consistency please?). Wow. This is alarming when reading the experience reported by others today that they did not have them and were asked to obtain them in the interview. This is the biggest uncertainty in the entire process. Still, I recommend getting the foreign language passport stamps translated as you have no idea if they want them. If you opt not to, there is a risk of delay later should they required them in your interview.

I asked whether this will delay the Decision Made and they insisted that it won't and they will complete the audit of the absences from Canada with in the week and proceed with the application process. So I am very curious how soon the DM will occur.

Wow. My case is very similar - I have several pages of physical presence calculator and over 40 different stamps on my passport (many to Spanish speaking countries). What exactly are they looking for? i.e. Colombia will be Colombia and 13 OCT 15 will be translated 13 OCT 15... I also have the boarding passes - which are in English (most), so hopefully I can use those as proof bc I don't think I want to translate all those stamps.

I had 75 pages of stamps as my ten-year passport expires in October (I'm from the last country that allowed extension pages until a few years ago).
So rather than pay a king's ransom to have all of the stamps translated, I made a judgement call and eliminated all of the stamps for consideration with translation that had a date before the physical presence time period of the application. I also didn't translate stamps that were very clearly bi-lingual in all words, that bore both English and the foreign language (e.g. Japan entry/exit stamps). I had two very old stamps who's dates were written in east arabic numberals in order to demonstrate they bore dates prior to the move to Canada.

So if you want your interview to go smoothly, make sure your physical presence calculator are correct and correlate with the CBSA report of your re-entries in to Canada and your passport stamps. I know I entered everything but when a few of the entries crashed the calculator, I seem to have missed a few entries were still not contained in the report.

I will be updating my physical presence calculator this weekend to match my passport stamps and CBSA border crossing report just in case they decide to put the processing on hold and request more accurate information. I'll have it all ready to fire away to them should they ask for it.

I also travel for work, I had over 40 foreign trips (mostly business trips) for the last 5 years prior to my application. When I submitted my citizenship application, I included a detailed list of all my travels since I landed in Canada in 2010. I created a spreadsheet (2 pages of A3 size paper (A3 is the size of 2 short bond paper). In the spreadsheet, I have the date left, date returned, city and country visited, trip details, purpose of trip, # of days, letter of invitation page ( for business trips), visa in passport (page), passsport page stamp of the outbound trip, passport page stamp of inbound trip, and if there is no stamp, page of the attached boarding pass and a comment column.

The total residency count on my spreadsheet also equals the total residency count in the physical presence calculator. I submitted all copies of my passports in color as well as the boarding passes.

I was suppose to attach a snapshot of the excel but there is no option for picture attachment in this forum.

When I had my interview, I was grilled about a 1 day trip back in 2013 in Washington that I forgot about and was not on my list. I was questioned about that trip for about 10mins. I had 102 days over the required residency requirement. I had my exam and interview on feb 16 and my application is still in process until now.
