no, it just means the officer has not made the decision. he or she probably wants to go through your file again to make sure or to run other checks until he/she is satisfied...

the 'discretionary grant' has to be Y...that is up to your officer's discretion weather or not the decision can be made.

you should be fine then. the worst case 12 months for processing the routine application is their standard. but if additional documents are requested, the 12 month timeframe will not be applicable...

i can understand your feeling. i went through that too. you should get yours soon if your application is still routine at this moment. have you been asked for any additional documents since test?

the delays relate to if the officer who takes on your case is a lazy ass or not.

i called three times but not helpful. the agent just insisted on 1 year policy... Ordered atip report and not helpful either. there are couple eligibility items show even 'not started'. I guess i was unlucky to have my application processed by a lazy officer who does not bother looking at it...

Hi, ATIP ordered 31 days ago. received no email.I sent status inquiry yesterday to the address ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca with my tracking number. only received an automatic reply 1 minute after. no further update since then. Does anyone suggest if the way to follow up on the ATIP? Thanks!

still no move after test 13 Feb...no request for additional documents, no change on ecas, nothing... i called call centre last week, was told that residence verification and security verification are pending... what the heck was that all about? Does anybody have any idea about what to do?
