I want ur help while filling the eApr
In personal history it's supposed not to leave any time gap, here is my personal history

2007-8 to 2010-10 employment
2007-9 to 2011-9 education
2011-1 to 2014-1 employment

No gap, right? Or shall I add another record between the 2 employment records and write unemployment.
2010-11 to 2010-12 unemployed
Logic says no gap, but if you want to be on the safe side you may add unemployment, especially if the education is not full time

Hello fellow Egyptians. Just wondering if anyone has successfully communicated with the Cairo office handling immigrant visas before? We got a request to submit our passports in the next 30 days (which I assume for visa processing?) but I am travelling for work so it will be very hard to meet the 30 days deadline. Did anyone go through the same? If so, how long does it take to print the visa? Was the embassy responsive in any way?

Thanks!
Are you in the matareed landing group? Or woul u like to be added there?

Thanks @egy2can

I have a number of questions that I will appreciate if you or our colleagues can help with, knowing that I'm a Provincial Nominee Class candidate preparing to submit the e-APR.
  1. My Ielts results expires in May, My understanding is that I do not need to show-up again for testing as long as I submit the e-APR before that trf expiry date. Thanks to confirm?
  2. My work experience reference letter sent to the nomination province is dated 6 month back at the moment, do I have to re-issue a new reference letter with a recent date? If so, do I have to include the same letter sent to the nomination province as well with a LoE or is it going to complicate the case?
  3. Same as the previous point for the PoF.. Do I have to issue and submit a new Bank Statement dated 6 month from the date I submit the e-APR? If so, do I have to attach the earlier version already sent to the nomination province?
  4. I've got the Egyptian PCC translated by the Ministry of Justice.. However all stamps are in Arabic, do I have to translate the stamps as well?
  5. Finally, I'm a smoker.. Any issues that I should consider before the medicals?
Thanks in advance

1. No need to retest as per my understanding
Check this link, it says so https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...entry/become-candidate/invitations-apply.html

2. Better to be safe than sorry. I would reissue it, if I were you. Also, if this will impact your points (selection factors grid), then definitely you need to reissue.

3. You need a new PoF for 6 months before e-APR. I don't think you need to attach the earlier statement in that case, as the new one is more up to date and contains the required amount.

4. No need. MOJ translation is fine. It says that you have no criminal verdicts, right?

5. I don't know how is your medical condition, but quitting smoking in general is good for you, so now would be a good time :)
Just kidding, I don't think it should impact the test. Research what they check for.

Good luck.

Haha.. Thanks @egy2can
I'm currently exploring the forum and the IRCC web page, the more I do the more questions arise..

Do I have to list "All" my bank accounts, even if I have sufficient PoF covered by one account only?
Just noticed that my EE profile creation date is 1st of April last year, I understand that it also does not matter as long as I submit the e-APR before that date?
Is it necessary to include translated copy for the military/public service exemption certificate?
Do we have to include the secondary education (Thanwya Amma) certificate?

Many thanks @egy2can

List the accounts that contain the funds, no need for all. But make sure the banks you list contain all accounts (including loans & credit cards).
Hurry before 1 Apr or you are in trouble.
If you haven't served for the military, and they haven't requested it, then why do you want to include it?
No need for secondary certificate.

This reference from IRCC is kinda vague to me..

For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you are keeping money.
Letter(s) must list:

  • all current bank and investment accounts
  • outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
