Hi guys,

I just had a query regarding accepting nomination from OINP. Me and my husband are at CRS 441...we recieved NOI from OINP in late january....we decided to wait for a few draws before we apply for PNP....but if in the next draw we dont get the ITA then we will have to go through the PNP route....i just wanted to enquire that if i have already got my documents verified by the province will i have to re-submit the same once i get ITA after receiving the Nomination Certificate? And will the time period for verification remain the same? The issue is that if we go through the PNP route then we wont be able to reach Canada before October (approximately). I am hoping to reach before onset of winter...

I think you will get a direct iTA before your 45 days expire. Just hold on. I've also seen people get PPr under 90 days through the PNP route.

Good luck

You've waited this long, why not a little bit more patient.

If you do miss out on ITA on Wednesday, it will most likely be because of tie breaker, which means March 7th is almost a guarantee.

In my opinion, except you are losing point between now and March 21st, I will say wait till then and your chances in those three draws, Feb 21st, March 7th and March 21st is above 90%.

Hello guys,

I have been a passive participant on this forum but really found (and deeply appreciate) all the information helpful and encouraging. I had some trouble creating an account here which is why i have not been able to contribute till now.

I just want to encourage everyone to keep the hope alive, afterall, nothing good comes easy though I understand the wait can be quite frustrating and irritating sometimes. I created a profile on 436 in December but ended up with 450 after my spouse's IELTS results in late January so we got ITA in the 83rd draw. I actually got Nova Scotia PNP in 2015 but was rejected because my relevant work experience was short of just 2 months!!. I was discouraged and probably a little lazy to re-apply .

I know this is common knowledge but try to find ways to upgrade your score - an old certification that you think little of may just make the difference. Max out IELTS scores and consider giving PNP a shot.

As someone requested, we would put in some good words for y'all. If you see the scores dropping, it means i have held up my end of the bargain...:D.. You are welcome!!

Keep on keeping on

Thank you so much for the reply....we waiting with bated breath for an ITA in the next draw but this is just in case it doesnt go as expected....People getting PPr in 90 days is encouraging.....I hope it all works out smoothly....thank you again for the encouraging words. :)

Thank you so much for such positive prediction! We are not losing patience...its just that our 45 days limit will expire soon so we need to be prepared for all scenarios.... the 45 days expire on 8th march....so we can maximum wait till the 7th March draw....thought it would be prudent to know the way forward and be prepared for either outcome.......

Ok let look at it this way, you want to arrive before winter, if you get direct ITA there is a chance of less than 3 months processing.
If you go for PNP, it takes two to six months to process and then nominate you. It has also been observed that people with PNP takes longer than regular to receive PPR. So all in all, I think keep your 1,500 that is enough for your first month rent on a 2 bed apartment. Be wise but ultimately, the decision is yours.

What do you mean by tie breaker?
When IRCC makes has a draw, they have a fixed number of people to select (2750 or 4000 etc). So, they set both a lower-end score as well as a tie-breaker for that score based on when the profile was submitted. Anyone with a score higher than the mentioned score gets an ITA in that draw. Anyone with the lowest mentioned score has to have submitted before the tie breaker date to receive an ITA from that drawing.

Sorry, 3000. Didn't mean to get your hopes high with 4k. May yet happen but I haven't seen one that high.

Hey Friends,
Hope you're doing great! It has been long time for me since I'd visited this forum on Nov'2017 as I am focusing / preparing IELTS exam.
Because my
IELTS score on 1st attempt - L - 8.5, R - 6.5, S - 7., W - 7
IELTS score on 2nd attempt - L - 8.5, R - 8.5, S - 7, W - 6.5
IELTS score on 3nd attempt - L - 8.5, R - 7.5, S - 6.5, W - 7.5

My total CRS score is
391.It has been long time where I've updated my profile very long back ( around 1 year ago).
I am curious about to know

CRS - Skill Transferability - Certificate of Qualification - 0"

My question is
1. Do I need to update my CIC profile to get CRS - Skill Transferability - Certificate of Qualification score ?

Please reply!

Many Thanks,

You only have to update your profile. That being said are you confident you qualify for those points?

Hello friends, it's been a month since I visited the forum. Got little busy with my life as things are not so good. My CRS is 435 and will be reduced to 430 after Mar 23. One good thing happened is I got NOI from OINP. I am collecting documents to file PNP if getting direct ITA is going to take time. Now, I have the following query.

Do we have to list all the full time jobs in OINP application in the last 10 years, even if we are claiming points for only 3 years of experience? I am asking this because I can produce reference letters and documents only for them and not rest of the jobs. Is it ok?

I request seniors to step forward and clarify.
