Just wondering if they have the option to go to embassy and get passport stamped or if it has to be couriered?

So, today I had a chance to speak with an agent of CIC (the wait was 35 Minutes, and agent was very helpful), who updated me with status of our file, after I'd won my full hearing on Dec 06, 2017.
After close to 2 months I was told that the system updated on Feb 02, 2018 that appeal allowed, and file has been sent back to VO New Delhi, who would start working sometime in March 2018. What next, when they start working on our file in Mar 2018.
Hoping that they would expedite our file, since we filed in Jan 2012, and it's already over 6 years.

What do you mean by 'submitting a file'? do you mean the paper you send when you first request an appeal?

Usually you send you request for appeal within 30 days after a refusal. Then i takes a max of 4 months for the original visa office/officer to send your fil and interview to notes to both you and the IAD. After that they will assess your file (this took us about 3-4 months for them to decided which route) and decide if you qualify for ADR or if you have to go to a full hearing. My ADR took about 5 months to be scheduled once they received my file. Full hearings i have heard can take up to 1.5 - 2 years to be booked.

However, if you read back long enough in this thread....everyone has a different experience and different timelines.

this is good for regular applicants....to bad appeals were not processed faster. I read a recent article how they are short staffed on appeal judges causing a delay.

1. Please tell me that can i print out the forms in colour?Because in colour prints the scanning of forms are good.
2.Headings of IMM 5669 form open in my laptop in light blue color but in other computers it open in grey color.
I am waiting please i need help about it.what should i do?

HI, When you fill any form and create bar code of it, all the information on form get into bar code.
When VO receives your forms, they scan it and all the required field gets populated with all the information given.
So, don't bother to print it out in color, just fill print and send forms to your earliest.

They are clearing more files by refusing more application and put them through the appeal process which is taking far longer than previous time frame before implanting new process in Dec 2016. As long as numbers are down they can boast about it I guess. I am going to write to minister about their handling on quick refuse and time to handle appeal case.

My file was processed in Singapore, which is one of the slowest embassy as mentioned in a CBC article and continued to be same.

Politicians seem to care about only sound bytes and optics. You will be extremely lucky if you get a reply.

Hy dear it takes maximum 2 years.Really painful...I understand the pain of all couples .As living without partner from 5 years is not easy. Alot of stress and depression destroy our health and peace.I pray that every couple get together for forever soon in sh Allah Amen.I pray everything is fine

It’s has been 19month since I appealed have not got the date yet for full hearing
