thank you so much. Do you have any idea how long do we have to wait for SA?
Actually no one can answer that for sure, some got SA couple days after AOR1, some waited couple weeks and some waited month or two. It is not necessary means the longer you wait for SA, the longer your whole case will be processed. My case, we waited about one month for SA, after AOR1, but my case had been approved in four and half months.

That makes me feel better haha! I linked my application on February 4th and I’ve been waiting since then for updates. I haven’t even received a request for Schedule A or Police certificate yet :’( but I’m glad at least I got my AOR1!

So I have Canada’s multiple tourist visa now I want to visit my husband during the process but let’s say during my 6 months stay there I get my passport request so would I have to go all the way back to my country (which is a pain cause it’s a crazy long flight and tickets are like 2,000-2,500$) or can I just submit my passport from there and get my pr there.

Thanks.

Hello guys,

My wife just got Sched A, PCC Request and Medical Exams requested. I haven't even got SA yet. Is this common? How could I track the time expected when steps are so different?

Thanks for your help.

Common, good sign though. You track the time by the day your application is received and that's it. Some people never get notified of SA/lost in transit, etc.

Hi everyone!

When completing Schedule A, did you type in your first and last name or sign? Please let me know. :)

The only steps that for certain will happen in order is AOR1 and DM, the steps between them really depends on which VO that your application will transfer to. Some VOs will require PCC and/or Med at early stage (Required by CPC-Mississauga), some VOs require them at a pretty late stage.
Our VO is Mississauga.
