It's as follows:

UCI: XXXXXXXXXXX

Hello,
We are pleased to inform you that you, your spouse and dependants can now receive free
pre-arrival services funded by the Government of Canada. These services are available
before you arrive and are meant to better prepare you for life in Canada.
Pre-arrival services are provided on behalf of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) by settlement service provider organizations. These service providers
offer free information to help you with:
• Living and working in Canada;
• Getting your education, work experience, and professional licenses and
certificates recognized in Canada;
• Connecting with employers, and with free supports when you arrive in Canada,
including language training; and
• Connecting with others in your new community, including French-speaking
communities.
If you are outside Canada, we strongly recommend that you use pre-arrival services
before you leave. We encourage you to explore the list of services on the IRCC website:
canada.ca/pre-arrival-services.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-services.asp?utm_source=slash-pre-arrival-services&utm_medium=short-url&utm_campaign=general
When you register for pre-arrival services with one of the service providers listed on the
website, you will be asked to provide a copy of this letter. You can contact as many
service providers as you like and receive as many services as you need, and these services
are always at no cost to you.
You are also encouraged to take advantage of free Government of Canada resources
available online, such as Welcome to Canada, the official handbook to help permanent
residents prepare to come and settle in Canada. The handbook is available at cic.gc.ca/publications.
Canada is a bilingual country where both English and French are spoken. If you are
interested in living in a French-speaking community outside Quebec, please visit
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/francophone.asp
For up-to-date information on immigration, settlement services and citizenship, we invite
you to join us on Facebook (Facebook.com/CitCanada) and follow us on Twitter
(Twitter.com/CitImmCanada).
Sincerely,
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

You're not too far behind. Has your sponsor paid all the required fees including the right of permanent residence fee? Sometimes when paying all the fees up front and all documents will help speed things up a little more

if you don't mind me asking...
what did they ask for on oct 30 for additional docs? and did they give 90 days to submit?
I see your pre-arrival was about 90 days after the additional docs request. im curious if it was just some basic info to wrap up the eligibility. which is what im hoping for since they only asked for a date and proof of my residence in Canada.

Yup, I already paid for my husband's fees upfront, including his PR fees.

The additional document they requested which we forgot to send in originally was an "Advisory of Marriages (AOM)" document from PSA. It was requested the next business day and uploaded to account 7 days later. They only give you 30 days to submit the documents unless you request an extension. But my wife and I don't waste time and get any documents they set forth to us right away. The pre-arrival depends on which VO is processing your husbands application. Some of them send it earlier, such as in our case of the Manila VO, others probably in a different stage of the application.

Cic is taking feedback regarding their services, here
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx
I did it and told them about their service how my application was lost for 3 months and later they found it but with some papers was still missing so we had to resend them again. We all should give them honest feedback whether it's positive or negative. I am sure if we all write send them feedback they will do something about it.

And finally I see the end of the tunnel.. Received my letter to provide copy of passport, the Appendix A and 2 Pictures. I have a USA passport, being visa exempt. Do I need to send two new pics aside from those I had sent with my application?
