Toronto / GTA / Markham Local office after status In Process

Does anyone have any idea if there is only one processing center for Toronto / GTA (including Markham) or there is a separate one for Markham as well?
My timeline - Application received - Oct 23, 2017
AOR - Dec 27, 2017
In Process - Jan 14, 2018.

I'm in Markham as well but there is no specific office. Some apps get sent to Scarborough and others to Toronto. Mississauga is another office. I don't know about other municipalities.

I believe Markham applicants are sent to Scarborough. From the spreadsheet, it seems people with IP in Dececember or late-November are getting test invitation now. People got IP before mid-November are still waiting. It is always a mystery under which order cases are processed.

Unfortunately these areas are usually processed in Scarborough office, the slowest office in entire Canada

Most applicants swear that their local office is the slowest.

Thanks for the info..true, the processing of immigration and citizenship applications is always a mystery nobody has able to decipher. Maybe depends on processing officer?
Btw, are you also from scarborough / markham area? What r ur timelines?

Maybe, but good to have this thread running, as other people might post their status, even if they are from Scarborough / Toronto, as I don't see any other office thread other than Missisauga!!

I lived in Markham when during the processing of my citizenship application (see timeline in signature). It was processed by the Scarborough office. I believe Stoufville and Richmond Hill applicants too are processed in Scarborough (according to some members here).

Thanks. Your timelines look encouraging that you got citizenship within 6 months. We hope our timelines remains the same now as well. Though there is a good chance that it'll get a bit delayed due to large vol of applications from Oct 11, 2017 when a lot of people became eligible due to new law.

Don't worry, considering it took me 2 months and 4 days, you might receive your AOR anytime soon. Esp the Dec ending was a holiday period, so you'll probably get an email soon.
