Another document request Jan 23...for proof of sponsor's intent to return to Canada after I become PR.
Thing is...my wife is already in Canada since September last year and in September we changed her address with IRCC and sent a copy of our property contract; we bought a house in Victoria, BC. Seems like they don't really know what they already have in our file. Anyways, now I also sent utility bills and copies of my wife's BC Driver's licence and BC Services Card. Back to waiting...getting closer to 13 months...

Joining in this thread as i got my VO confirmed as London yesterday..

Hoping to not be around tooooo long ;)

Spreadsheet updated. Yes, don't assume that they are joined up, point out to them the current situation - plenty of 'proof' there!

Guys, received an email from LVO for just an inquiry

here is what it says:
Thank you for your e-mail. We confirm that your application is in process and currently assigned to a visa officer for full review.

anyone received the same email? and any idea how long this would still take?

It's a standard email, it means they're processing. How far along are you?

i hope but once husband gets ppr it take 3-4 weeks to get voh and then plus another month to be able to leave and fly
We never got PPR so it was fast for us. If you don't get the PR card in a time window you needed it you can apply for a PR travel doc outside of Canada.
