Alleluia!!! Gloire à Dieu. I've been waiting for 17 months and I finally got my CoPR, I'm going to buy my ticket now.
Holy Christmas! That took a long time! Glad you now have it. Spreadsheet updated.

Timescales vary drastically for the time taken for background checks - ours took 2 days, others take a couple of weeks or months - doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reasons to it......
I sure hope it won't be months of "background check in process" for me, after a week of "background check...." and almost 13 months total I just want to put this whole process behind me and start a proper life again...

depending on how many background checks they have to do for you, and how long do their systems connect with those countries... my bgc shouldn't take too long as i saw that info sharing on my notes says NRT already, maybe? lol

I ordered notes in September, saw NRT in info sharing, dated mid February 2017.

NRT is for almost everyone before the file moves to LVO .. it said that for my hubby too back in June 2017 ..still waiting for LVO to touch my file .. May 2017 applicant .. :(

I've only started watching this thread and read a lot of you messages here but still don't have an idea of how long it takes for London Visa Office to process applications. There were people waiting 2 months for their file to be transferred to LVO and after that?
If anyone has a rough statistic, please share as I don't have a clue. Thanks in advance!

Woke up to an email with PPR this morning, the wait in limbo is finally almost over!

Whats your time line? Congratz
Application date Jan 16 2017, applicant from Sweden, sponsor from Canada, 2 kids together who are dual Canadian and Swedish citizens.
SA Feb 16 2017
Document requests Feb 20 2017
Meds done Feb 28 2017

Document requests Jan 5 and Jan 23 2018, updated Schedule A and request for proof that sponsor will reside in Canada (she has lived in Canada since Sep 2017, and I already sent proof of that before...guess the agent must have missed that).
PPR Feb 1 2018

Online systems haven't really updated at all throughout the process. ECAS still says Application Received, not even anything that they have started processing my application.
My application was processed in Mississauga from start to finish.

Now I need that COPR so I can land and start my new job as team leader mechanical engineer in Victoria, BC.

why do they ask for proof that sponsor will reside in Canada? and what kind of proof did you send? employer's letter? anything else?

In September I sent them our property contract ( we bought a house in Victoria), when getting the request in January I also sent them utility bills and copies of sponsor's drivers licence and BC services card.
