Hi Guys! i have a question. what documents are required at the airport when you land first time in Canada? And is there minimum amount of money which i have to carry?
just you confirmation of permanent residence documents and of course passport.no minimum amount up to you how much you want but less then $10000 because they will charge tax above $10000 less then $10000 should be good.

If I got my medical extended since November is that mean I should get PPR soon as since January they not reply to my emails at all ?
October 2016 application

do you mean you did remedical by “extended”. If you did remedical on November then you should hear something soon. It depends Usually it takes around 2 3 months after remedical[/QUOTE]

Hi,

Hi all! Looking for some expert advice.
My wife is already in canada on a TRV. We got PPR yesterday. Since she is already in Canada, there is an option of submitting the passport to the Ottawa office. Since she came on a TRV, we had to book a return ticket. Her return to india is on February 26th since we are all going to india for a wedding in and we will be returning on March 7th. My question is, if we submit it to Ottawa, can she still do her landing while coming back with us from India. I heard from somewhere that if you are already in Canada and send the passport to Ottawa, they only issue a one time immigrant visa to cross the border, not for a landing at the airport.
