Hi guys, hoping I can't get some help please. For theform Q 9c, I answered No even I visited other countries, because 0177 form doesn't apply. Should I be worried about it get returned?

other posts said we should answer yes and fill out the form with N/A or an explanation letter.

Thank you.

Hi there..i am in the same boat,.app received on nov 24..still waiting for AOR..wait is getting really frustrating especially dec applicants have started to receive AORs..i hope someone has explanation about the delay
I am now thinking they might have misplaced our applications or they never received them. My friend who applied on October 20th got his test interview done yesterday. I don't know what going on.

I hope thats not the issue.. by the way who signed as receiver when canadapost delivered your application??

Looks like Nov applicants are gonna wait more for just one applicant has gotten test invitation and that was an (urgent process) case and that up to the spreadsheet.

Processing times for PR cards vary depending on volume of apps and is available on the CIC website. I checked recently, it was 88 days IIRC.
I would renew if I was you.
Does the PR card renewal process delay my citizenship application in any way?

I do not think the PR card renewal and Citizenship applications are connected. So there should not be any delay.

I can retrieve my application on ECAS now, and it says
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 30, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 19, 2018.
There should be an extra line that says they're processing my application, so it's not in process yet, right?

Yes it goes in process when your file is transferred to your local office!

That's what I figured, too. Thanks for letting me know!
