Added. IP just means that your application will be transferred to a local office close to your home address (I think Edmonton only has one). Your application will now start "real" processing, meaning background, criminality, and eligibility checks will now be done on your application.Hi guys, single application mailed

UpdatedIn process, Jan 20...
Thanks!
I have a question....if IP means "that application will be transferred to a local office close to applicants home address" , Sydney CPC takes 2-6 weeks on an average just to scan and / or mail the application/s to a local office? My understanding was that application goes to IP the moment it is picked up by a processing personnel at local CIC office. Please clarify.Added. Next step can be a fingerprint request (not everyone is asked to provide these), test/interview invite, then oath.

Hi, it seems that each case is different than the other. The most important thing that your application is in the local office, so congratulations.I have a question....if IP means "that application will be transferred to a local office close to applicants home address" , Sydney CPC takes 2-6 weeks on an average just to scan and / or mail the application/s to a local office? Hi there..i am in the same boat,.app received on nov 24..still waiting for AOR..wait is getting really frustrating especially dec applicants have started to receive AORs..i hope someone has explanation about the delayHi guys, My application was delivered in November 24, 2017 and i have not gotten any sort of correspndence from CIC. Is this normal?
It is believed that CPC-Sydney does some preliminary eligibility checks on GCMS between AOR and IP. dpenabill mentioned that some time ago, there was no difference between AOR and IP. Both used to happen simultaneously.I have a question....if IP means "that application will be transferred to a local office close to applicants home address" , Sydney CPC takes 2-6 weeks on an average just to scan and / or mail the application/s to a local office?
